We are hoping to go to DW during Jersey week but are having much difficulty finding affordable nonstop flights. We will need to go down Wed. night or Thurs. a.m. and return on Sunday. We usually fly EWR and would prefer that; but we've also been checking JFK, LGA, and HPN. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Checking different dates in November it seems that there are available non-stop flights for around $200
But until I know your exact date I can't check for sure.

$160 with a stop airtran out of PHL (philly) over $400 nonstop. BWI is $150 RT if you want to drive to Baltimore.

ACY is an option but they are (with out looking) over $500 per seat I'd bet.

We go that week every other year, gotta book before they see the demand for that time frame........ sorry.

Ed which week is Jersey week?

What are the dates? I know NJ week is in November but not sure when?

Sorry, just got back on here & didn't know you had been asking....

The flight out would be Wed., Nov. 4th (6 pm or later) or as early as possible on Thurs., Nov. 5th...
Return flight would be Sun., November 8th....hoping for afternoon flight home, but we'd take evening if we had to. Thanks.

Seems like that's the way it's going to be...
I can't believe $160 for 1 stop goes up over $400 for NS!!!!

Thanks to everyone for your input! If you see anything out there, PLEASE let me know!! Thanks again.

It's nuts we can be parked and at the gate at ACY in 30 minutes, but those flights that week are just too much. We have driven 2 hours + to BWI to get the < $200 RT directs to MCO. Only took us 6 years to figure out the pattern :headache:.

I know what you mean. We live about 20 minutes away from EWR (Newark)....
I am checking out JFK, LGA, HPN, and Philly at this point!!!! Just wish I could find SOMETHING that would be as good a deal as yours!

If you drive down to Baltimore you can get a direct flight out on the 4th thru airtran at 7:55pm for $64 and they have several direct flight back on the 8th right now they are all $133 but you can use the airtran $25 coupon for each ticket just have to use different email addresses to get each coupon) and if you book one way for each ticket you can use the coupon for all the flights.

Not sure what price you are looking for but I think you may have to be more flexible with travel times to get a better price.
Delta has flight leaving LGA on the 4th around 5:30 PM
coming back on Sunday around 7am for $209.00
Your limited flight times are what's driving the price. There are less expensive flights out of HPN available but they have a layover and not the best travel times. Anytime you travel during a school vacation week the airlines usually jack up the prices especially for non-stop.

Thanks; we'll be looking into this. Not sure if we can make the 7:55 flight; that would mean we'd have to be there around 6:00. It would be cutting it close, especially with dinner-hour traffic all the way through DC. I will definitely look into it, though, and really appreciate the suggestion. Can you get the coupons right on the AirTran site?

I know you're right about the prices being jacked up; I was just hoping that it wouldn't go up so high!! We saw the flights you mentioned last night & are considering them (REALLY need to decide what we're doing!!)....I just really hate to leave the resort at 5 a.m.!!! It's funny, I don't mind leaving home at 4am....but I want to stay in Disney until the last possible moment (even with work the next day)!
Thanks so much again.

The airport is about 2 hours from philadelphia, you could also drive down to that area on the 4th and take a really early flight out on the morning of the 5th, you would be paying for a hotel night in florida anyway, they had some cheap direct flights in the early am on the 5th, this is the link for the coupon which may help even for a closer airport

we had a very difficult time too. we are going on a cruise that friday and with a coupon for $35 off through spirit (being a $9 fare club member) we dident do too bad. came out to just shy $400 for 2 of us. a lot more then I normally spend but for that week it was the best we could find. BWI was cheaper and so was JFK but after we factored in travel, gas, tolls and parking ac was cheaper
