I booked my vacation at the pop a few months ago, we will be there the first week of january. Now my mother has decided to come down and stay a couple of days with us, but the disney website says that there is no room at the POP. I think it is so odd cause it is not a super busy week, now I am really sad. Do you think if I call disney directly I have a better chance of getting a room or is it a definite no go now? HELP ME, give me some advice on how to get her a room there. The dates are 01/04-01/07

It can't hurt to call direct to Reservations. There are always cancellations.

Maybe one of the other value resorts will have room for all of you and you can move your reservation there?

Are you checking for a full priced room or one with a discount? What days do you need? Sometimes its only one day on your reservation that makes it all unavailable.

As another poster said, you could look into moving your reservation to another value if there is availability for her there too.

Call and talk to Disney and explain. Have all your info - dates, people, your confirmation number.

You don't mention how many people are going with you - can you add her to your room? I'm a TA and just checked for you - all Values are currently sold out for 1/4 - 1/7 - I checked both the winter room discount offer inventory and the rack rate inventory. If you stick with your original dates, your most economical bet is to move everyone over to CBR using the Winter Room-only discount. Otherwise, if you can change your dates, POP has availability from 1/3 - 1/6 with the Winter Room discount.

If you feel more comfortable making your reservation or reservation changes over the phone, call Disney reservations and mention code UU7 for the discount.

It sounds like you booked your POP room at rack rate? If so, based on the current availability, by using the January-February discount, you will actually be able to upgrade to a moderate (CBR and POR are currently available) for just a little more than what you are paying at POP for 1/4-1/7. CBR is coming up as $407 for a standard view, POR is $431 for garden view.

If you want to stay at POP, by switching your dates to 1/3 - 1/6, with the discount, a standard room is $242, preferred is $280.

Pop Century is available from January 4-6. Your problem is adding the last night. Since it is the marathon weekend, a lot of the values are sold out. If your mother is concerned about January 5th, you can get her in there.

You can also check to see about changing your room reservation to two double beds so she can bunk with you.

You mentioned you are going down with your DH and two children, one of whom is turing 5 during the trip. Your mom can only bunk with you if she is coming alone and your other child is 3 or under. If your second child is over 3 years old, 4 people is the maximum capacity for rooms at POP.
