Ok, I'm going to disney for 6 days, 5 nights. It is just my dh and me. We decided we want to stay at Beach club and AKV. So my question is how would you break up your days. AK frist or Beach club? which resort would you spend the 3 days. We also want to do the dining plan for half this trip so would you do the dining plan 2 or 3 days and which resort would you want to have the dining plan for. I hope i'm not asking too many questions, i'm very confused and he isn't helping. Thanks

I'm moving this to resorts, you'll get the best answers there.

Well, if it was me, I will go first to AKV. It is a whole different experience in itself staying there, and would be a great way to start off the trip. I'd probably do 2 or 3 nights there, no longer that that. Then, moving over the the Beach Club, again a whole different 'experience' - you may find it more lively, with being in the Epcot resort area. I would suggest using your dining plan for the BC part of the trip - as you have a TON of dining options in that resort area - not only do you have dining options at BC, but at the Yacht Club, Boardwalk and Epct / MGM. Good luck!

This sounds like an excellent plan, Does anyone else have any input? Now keep my fingers crossed I can get the rooms. LOL

I would choose one and stay put.
Since it is just you and DH I would suggest getting the Dining Plan for the full 5 nights and really enjoy TS dining without the kids. There are so many places to experience and you could make fine dining a highlight of this childless trip.
I would choose BC. We love the Epcot Resort area. It is so convenient and it is great to be able to walk back to your room after Illuminations.
Walking to the IG at Epcot is a joy. Epcot is our favorite park. We get Park Hoppers and usually end up doing dinner in one of the WS restaurants after a day in a different park.
If you decide to split anyway, I would do 2 nights at the AKL and then 3 nights at the BC with the Dining Plan
Have a Great Trip

I don't think it matters which resort you go to first. I would do the Dining Plan at the Beach Club also. Plan your park days so that you hit Epcot & the Studios when you are the Beach Club & do AK & the Magic Kingdom when you are at AKL. Have a great trip!

I am doing BWV and AKV in that order.

would do the dinning plan at BC - because of easy access to Epcot.
