Help me pick a week please!! *Again* I've never been so unsure!!

I PROMISE this will be my last "which week is better???" post!!

Our original plan was to come Jersey Week 2017, then I started to get too impatient and wanted to go sooner and thought Easter Break 2017. After reading how packed it'll be, I went back to our original plan Jersey Week 2017 and I was ok with it. Then I spoke to daughters teacher at Back to School Night and they said they won't overload her with homework and missing a week won't be THAT bad, so we're now really considering taking her out of school for the week.

Soooo which would you choose??

4/29-5/7 Easter crowds will already be gone, it'll be less busy than Jersey Week, beautiful weather and both water parks will be open.

9/30-10/8 - Everyone back in school, less busy than Jersey week, both water parks will be open, but not sure about weather??? Is it still brutally hot/humid?? BONUS on this date is daughter can get in on the Halloween Party (if they run it that early??).

I'd def. do the 9/30-10/8. I still think it'll be less crowded then as opposed to the Spring.

9/30-10/8 is still hot in my opinion (but I live up north so anything over 85 to me is hot), but the Halloween party will be going then and I love love love Halloween so I vote this time simply for the Halloween decorations/party.

Just to throw another wrench in the mix, 9/30-10/8 is hurricane season. Although Orlando is in the middle of the state, you can get some severe rain. However, if there is no hurricanes, it an awesome time to be in Florida. The weather may be hotter than you expect, but the humidity will be much lower than August.

My vote is late April. Either way, you have good time frames with low crowds. Enjoy!

What are the chances that there will be a discount that week 4/29 - 5/7? Or even 5/6-5/14? I know 9/30 is still within 'value' season so I'm hopeful there will be a discount that period as an added bonus.

Schools in New Jersey have either half day or day off Tuesday and then Thursday and Friday off for Teachers' Convention the first full week in November. So if you travel from Jersey that week, your kids won't miss much school. The problem is the airlines are on to that and the cost to fly from Newark to Orlando is very high.

I have been during the Sept/Oct week before and it was great. Very relaxing with low crowds. We didn't use a touring plan. It was a really nice time to go. I have heard fall crowds are busier now than they were then but will still be much less crowded than Easter and Christmas week. I don't remember how hot it was but I am from the south and it affects me differently than some people since I am used to heat and humidity. For our next trip, my DH and I are going the last week in April in 2017 and love how the weather is looking during that time of year. The crowds will have died off a good bit from Easter and we are looking forward to seeing the Flower & Garden Festival. You may want to see which option will offer the best pricing. I personally would be inclined to pick April/May because it will be here sooner!

While I personally love the Sept/Oct time frame at WDW............there's always the chance of a hurricane...........OK before I get flamed out here. You have to consider that......especially when you doing a family trip with kids. Given that.........i'd go with the May dates.............nice time of year..............warm.

Is your Fall break 10/3 - 10/7 this year? We can even go the week after 10/7-10/15 but I dont want to get closer to Halloween than that because then we run the risk of one of the two waterparks closing for the season. =(

This past May seemed really hot to me, but I've only gone in super late October/right before Thanksgiving in the past, so May was warmer than I was used to. I'll do a comparison when I get back!
