Help me pick a week please!! *Again* I've never been so unsure!!

Is your Fall break 10/3 - 10/7 this year? We can even go the week after 10/7-10/15 but I dont want to get closer to Halloween than that because then we run the risk of one of the two waterparks closing for the season. =(

Yes that is our fall break. Some schools have the week after as fall break too. And then you have Columbus Day crowds to worry about as well.

Not trying to discourage you! We love going on that week despite the crowds! But I just noticed your post said all kids would be back in school & wanted to make sure you knew that wasn't the case

I'd go for the late April/early May date. Probably better weather and its sooner

Another vote for late April/early May. Weather is much nicer then. Crowds will be about the same.

Thank you everyone for your input - I'm going to see where my daughter is on the whole Halloween Party thing. If she's REALLY into it, then we'll have to wait until 9/30. If she's iffy and doesn't really care one way or the other, then we'll jump to 4/29. Thanks again =)

We have gone in early May a few times. Less crowds and much better weather than October.

I live in FL. Early may it's usually already getting into the 90s. October is usually around the mid/high 80s. In general, there's not too much difference temperature wise. The past two years that we have gone we found that late september/early october had some of the lowest crowds and shortest lines, as compared to the rest of the year! In fact, we're going for a short weekend at the end of september this year for the MNSSHP!!

4/29-5/7 Flower and Garden will still be happening and it's much nicer weather than your other choice... however it might be when ESPN is filled up with cheer and band competitions.. Still better than your other dates.. it wasn't too bad this year..
