I've a room reserved for next weekend at the Tropicana for $209/night. I'm going to see the Bon Jovi concert, but it's also Nascar weekend so all of the prices are much higher than they would normally be.
I started reading hotel reviews and saw that the Tropicana appears to be sort of outdated. So, I went digging through the AAA website and found that I could get the Monte Carlo for $40 more total or the MGM for $57 more total.
The concert is at the MGM. It's just me (28) and a friend (32) travelling. Since we're already paying so much...I'm tempted to just pay the extra $$ and upgrade to the MGM.
What would you do???

It's across the street catty-corner to MGM, so it's convenient for the concert. MGM is just sooo big. Depending on where your room is, it can take you 15-20 minutes easily to get from the front of the hotel to your room.
