Help me figure out this SSR add-on deal...

Why, oh why do I open these blasted threads? All they do is make me want to jump in the fun and add on myself.

It's best not to know of any fun, exciting deals so as of now, I am on "DVC incentive thread restriction."

I'll start right after I open just one more incentive thread....

I talked to my guide today. If you take the 04 points the dues start from the month you make the deal so that would be this Mar 05 and she said no bonus points. What???

Too many conflicting stories. Does anybody have their new paperwork??

My guide said the deal for extra points is only for 05 UY add on with no dues. I was on the DVC member site today and they say you can still get SSR at $85 per point after the discount!!

I'm curious to see what my paper work says about dues. I was told that I would not get my dues paid for but that I would get the 100 bonus points if I took the April 2004 use year.I did take it and spoke with MS today. They quoted me the number of points I will have on April 1, 2005 and it included the 100 bonus points. Don't know what to tell you other then maybe speak with a supervisor?

I hope it's all wrong. She said that there are several contracts that coming back because they can't do the deal.

I knew the deal seemed too good to be true! I guess you have to look at the bottom line. I figured that if you bought:

120 pts @ $87 = 10,440
100 pts @ $10= - 1,000 if you rent them out

total is $9,440/120 = $78.66 per point and you still don't pay any dues for 05 year. Not a bad deal and even if you keep the bonus pts, you can take extra vacation time!!

This is the way at least I'd like to look at it.

He is a real sweetie! Our first 2 contracts were his presents for carrying and delivering our 2 girls.

Hmmm.... Maybe this is his way of asking for a son.
