I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow and the first place I'm heading after we check in is Sephora :cheer2:. I have a mascara and blush that I love but other than that, I want to get a makeup makeover!

What's your favourite foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick, and gloss? Any suggestions???

I'm so excited to be going back to my favourite store in the world :teeth:.

LOVE: Mac Eyeshadow (but they dont sell that at Sephora) Soooo, try STILA - I love them too.
Everyone is gonna tell you Bare Minerals base - and they do sell that at Sephora.
I love Anna Sui lipsticks and glosses - I also love STILA's.

Check out: Makeupalley.com :cloud9:

I'm a big fan of Bourjois cosmetics. I have heard that they are made in the same factory as Chanel cosmetics.

Anything by Urban Decay! I especially love their eye shadows. They're really bold and last a lot longer than most of the ones I've used in the past. Also for mascara try Big Fatty by Urban Decay. It is seriously the best mascara I've ever used. I have a problem with really straight eyelashes and they're really stubborn when it comes to curling them. But that mascara is awesome. It holds them in place all day and they don't look clumpy or nasty. I love it :thumbsup2 Oh and for gloss I really like Lip Venom. It plumps your lips up and brings out their natural color. That stuff is great.

Ok - I do use the bare escentuals foundation. I like it well enough. I also like the MAC Studio Fix as a foundation (powder)

Actually, the Sephora brand eyeshadow and lipstick are pretty good. NARS also has excellent blush. Smashbox has a really good primer.

I ditto the MAC and Urban Decay. I also like Nars, Laura Mercier, and Shu Uemura.

Besides makeupalley.com there is also www.makeup411.com .

Have fun! :wizard:

Besides all the makeup sites already mentioned, try makemeup.com
Good reviews, opinions and suggestions there...
And have fun shopping for new makeup...I'm jealous... :teeth:

you must must must get the Urban Decay Primer Potion...in fact, buy 2! This stuff makes ANY (even "cheap") eyeshadow last ALL DAY. totally worth the $14.

LOVE smashbox, stila, cargo, urban decay, nars items.

the "quickie" pallettes by Too Faced are very fun and, actually, very much worth the $25.

then swing by the hair care section and get some Frederic Fekkai glossing cream.

OHHHH, what does that do? Just the name sounds like it would do nice things for my hair...Please explain... :)

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I haven't heard of the glossing cream before but it sounds like something I must have :)

My favorite eyeliner is Stila Smudge Pots. Use a flat brush to put it on and it won't budge all day.

It's a glossing creme' you'd put in AFTER your hair is dry, styled etc. It is good stuff....

BUT....

I think that brand is over hyped, over priced. I prefer the salon professional products. Bed Head makes a similar cream - After Party - which IMO works better.

Also, Farouk BioSilk is fantastic for wet and/or dry hair at creating shine.

I agree Urban decay eye shadows and smudge pot eyeliner and anything By benefit!!
Love benefit new blush called dallas with what is called high beam , It makes your face look fresh and dewey, really pretty. and the have new lip plumper. nice colors too.
Nars blush is good too.

you can use it on wet OR dry hair...I've found it to really tame the frizzes and make my hair shiney all day. I adore the stuff. yes it's a little pricey, but I use cheap dove shampoo, so it's all a 'wash'.

BioSilk makes me look like a grease pit...no matter HOW little I use.

everyone's hair is different and reacts differently to products...but the FF Glossing cream really is nice. You can buy a small travel size one (small but it does last a LONG time) to try out.

I love my bare escentuals but just got new lip gloss from Mark and love that too!
