We will be eating at Kona for the first time in Dec.

I voted for CP because we ate their the last two trips and we loved it.
When I asked my DH and kids what places they wanted to revisit to eat, they all said CP and Chef Mickeys, so we are going back to these again for our Dec. Trip. They will be the only two repeats, the rest of our ADR's are all new to us.

I think if you have never been to CP ,then you should go. It is lots of fun and we have always found great food.

With children, I would pick the Crystal Palace. The food is good and the characters are fun for the whole family.

Thanks for the input so far, but it is neck and neck. Please I need more help!

I voted for Kona, but only because I like to sit down and have breakfast served to me. It's not that I never do a breakfast buffet but I prefer not to.

CP just always seems like a mad house when I walk by. Doesn't matter what time of day.

I'm into a more relaxed dining experience, but at the same time, I don't have kids....

I voted for CP only because you have kids. I myself would rather try out Kona.

Still neck and neck...well doesn't really help me choose but at least I know I can't go wrong with either! :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone! :goodvibes

I voted for Kona. The food is great, it will give you a chance to relax enjoy the Polynesian atmosphere and get away from the crowds at the park. After dinner, you can grab a Mai Tai (or whatever) at the Tambu lounge and head to the beach to watch the electrical light parade and Wishes.

We had a bad experience at CP but we LOVE Kona....their prime rib and filet are AWESOME :). Plus the atmosphere is casual (but nice) and the Poly is a great resort to visit ;).

I voted for Crystal Palace because of your kids. We did both last year and enjoyed both of them. We are going to both again this year.

Why don't you show your children pictures of both places and the food they serve and let them choose. I think CP is more fun for kids, but the buffet is just like any other buffet. Kona has great food and my youngest DD loves the Kona Kone for dessert, it is ice cream in a waffle cone surrounded by cotten candy, a really fun dessert for kids.

I voted for Kona. We had tried CP once, and were not at all impressed. The food was not good, especially for the price you pay, IMO. Plus, my little girl has always had a change to see the Pooh characters in the parks. I've never been to Kona, but I've only heard great things about it, and it's on my list to try next time we go to WDW. :)

Been to CP and really really didn't care for it. This year I'm excited to Kona

Thanks for all your help.

It was just to close so I did what a PP suggested and sat my kids down and let them decide. In the end, it is all about the kids right . We are going to Crystal Palace. We did book one nice adult style dinner during our trip and I figured that the rest should be up to the kids.

When we go on are next adult weekend trip we will try Kona.

Thanks again for all your help! :goodvibes
