Help me choose an EPCOT resort!

Hi! I'm trying to decide between the Swan, a BC standard room, or a BW standard view. We've stayed at Dolphin - so want to try something different. Also- BC is more to our taste than YC. Where would the standard view location be better for pool and lobby access? This would be for the weekend nights following a WLV stay of 5 nights so I really want to be in this area for EPCOT and MGM access without busses.

You can't go wrong with any one of your choices! I am partial to the S/D but wouldn't turn down a great rate to stay at the B/Y Club. The rate is what makes my choice an easy one - Swan/Dolphin!

The only Epcot resort we've tried is BWI but it was wonderful! I love its proximity to MGM and World Showcase and I LOVE its decor! It has the prettiest rooms!

My first choice would be Swan (haven't stayed at the Dolphine. Second choice would be the BWI. Last would be Y & B. Our last trip there we need bread crumbs to find our way from the elevator to the room and we could hear every move our neighbors made.

I'd say go for the Beach Club so you can go to Stormalong bay. It's an incredible pool. I could spend an entire day there

I liked the Boardwalk Inn, but found it to be a bit on the stuffy side for my tastes.

Haven't stayed at the Swan yet (will be in December).

I would go with the Beach Club. For the obvious reason of Stormalong Bay, but also because the Boardwalk Villas are having some work done. It's listed as "Major pipe replacement". I do my best to avoid resort rehabs!

Is the BWI really stuffy? I would have thought the BC/YC would be more so. Are the CM's nicer at the BC. Can anyone tell me what standard rooms would be best for convenience sake at BC? Is the area closest to EPCOT a standard room area? Sorry so many questions, but I never expected to be staying at any of these, so I haven't done my research.

We have stayed at the BC, YC and BW but never the Swan/Dolphin. In our opinion:

BC -
1) GREAT POOL! My family loves SAB.
2) Easy walk to EPCOT, boat to MGM
3) Few more choices in restaurants

BW -
1) Can walk to EPCOT & MGM - or boats
2) BW activites are fun at night.

We have never found the BW stuffy. There is a very limited lobby because all the restaurants and strores are on the BW. This can make the set-up a little different from other resorts.

I think you will be happy with either resort!
