Hi Folks,

I'm struggling here. I have tentative plans for disney Jan. 1 2007 for five or six days. But I'm worried about crowds since half the schools don't go back until Jan. 8th or 9th. Sept 18-23 is my other time. How much less crowded will that be? I've only gone recently around Halloween time and I can't take it more crowded than that! Anyone have any advice? Unoffficial guide gives the jan days 5s and 6s and the sept. 4s. How accurate is that! Help Help help!

I was at the MK last year on Jan 3 and the crowds were doable. We had to skip Peter Pan because it was 45 min wait and we DONT wait that long (spoiled princess:). I have heard that middle of Sept to begining of October is great and everything is open. On the Jan 3rd trip it was COLD. We had been in FL for 2 weeks and it was warm the whole time but that day it was 40's. On my middle of Jannuary trip before not all attractions were up and running and it was chilly. I would not do January again. It wasn't for me.

We go every year around the 18th of Sept, and it is fabulous!!! The lines are about a 5 to 10 minute wait. Sometimes the que will say 20, but it never was. It is a little hot, but the lines are so short. I also go at the end of January, & it is very nice as well. I like when it is cold better. I was going to go that first week in Jan, but the crowds have scared me away. Hope this helps.

We went Jan 1 to 7th 2004 and are going Jan 3 to 11th 2006. I don't think the crowds were too bad.

However the weather in Jan might be hit or miss. Might be great, (mid 80's) what we had the 1st trip or it might be a bit cooler. That doesn't bug me, easier in the parks with younger kids and no mater what the weather there is it is better then in MI in Jan.

However In Jan hurricanes are not an issue at all.

It might be in Sept.

Something to consider.
