Help! Is my fabric OK for transfer?

I just bought what could be all my stock of tank tops at Walmart... But excluding 1-2, none are "even" fabric... (but 100% cotton).
They almost all have that ridged fabric... I'm not even sure that's the right word! hummm... I know! I took a picture, maybe it'll be clear enough to give you an idea!

So a little uneven fabric. You almost don't feel it to the touch, but I'm wondering if it could be enough so the transfer doesn't stick???

I had to pay a lot more than I wanted to , so I wouldn't want to use them for nothing... I'd prefer paying more to at least have tops I could use for the whole summer... and maybe more!

I purchased some tank tops like this at Ross......so far so good. Image sticks fine, just be careful when putting it on so the fabric doesn't stretch too much as this can crack the image.
