help!! I'm starting to panic...

I booked flights for my husband and i from Philadelphia to Orlando for December 11th through priceline and paid for tickets on frontier. I just now pulled up my flights on frontiers site and they said I need to update my info. So I clicked on it and it is showing our first and middle names pushes together as a first name. Such as Dianaelizabeth instead of separated. I I fixed it for both of us and its telling me I need to pay an additional $150.00 to do this!!! If I leave it be will that be an issue for security? I didnt put it in like that on priceline. Why should I have to pay to fix it? Also it has some strange phone number as my contact and not my own. What should I do? New to flying and all of this. I'm already panicking BC I saw all of the negative reviews for frontier after I already booked. *sigh * please help! Thanks!

I had that happen once but our middle name was on our Id and it wasn't questioned. Don't know about others experience, but if you call will they do a courtesy update for you?

i wouldn't think it would be a problem.
each time i use united or american, they put my first and middle name as one name.
never has been an issue for me with tsa.

like the above person suggested, call the airline and see if you can get out of that additional charge.

I've only flown frontier once and it dropped all of our middle names. It ended up not being an issue. You could send them an email about it, I did and they said they fixed it, but it still didn't show up. The only thing I do remember about frontier was that checkin to drop off luggage was a long wait. It took over 30 minutes and several people in front of us missed their flight. They were yelling at the agent and he kept trying to help the other people in line because there was nothing he could do at that point.....one flight per day doesn't leave a plan B. Good luck and allow extra time.

Thanks everyone! I looked at it again and I guess it was just requiring that I fill in missing contact info. That didn't cost anything. It just wanted to charge me if I changed passengers. Hopefully the combines first and middle name issue wont be a problem like you all stated. Anyone know what the likely hood of sitting together will be if I skip choosing seats? This is getting costly having to pay for a bag and seating arrangements. Lol grrrr.

Lots of airlines merge the first and middle name together even when you type them in separately. Not an issue a all.
