Hi everyone,

DH and I are sending our future brother in law to surprise his fiance (DH's sister) at WDW...she will be there for one day only and we're flying him down as a surprise.

The catch...he's never been to WDW before and I'd like to make this as easy as possible on him without spending a fortune on airport transportation. It seems Mears is the cheapest way to send a single person, but I'm concerned about the return trip. Can Mears pick him up directly from the MK? Or does it come to TTC? For those who've done it, how far in advance of his flight will he have to catch the shuttle, and do I need to make reservations for the return shuttle??

Okay, so he's a newbie to WDW, but I'm a newbie to airport transportation :p

Thanks for your help!

They can't do it from the MK itself, but I imagine the TTC would work. Or better yet, the Contemporary. Because Mears is a shuttle service, they will make a bunch of stops. Typically they might pick you up 3-4 hours before your flight.

You are better off renting a car for the day. It is going to cost $100 to go round trip from the airport to Disney. Go to pricline.com or budget.com and reserve a car. I would rent a economy car, which you should be able to get for $20-$30 total.
