To OP, have you considered driving? As there are 5 of you it could be quite a bit cheaper than the Eurostar and you can use tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for the eurotunnel crossing.
Next year easter friday is 29th March.
I have driven over before and got the ferry, never used the Eurotunnel and to be honest it was fab! I did it with my oldest school friend and it took all in all, about 15 hours (I live in York!) it was such a good girly trip. I have broached the idea of driving with my OH because I'm totally up for it but he is gets so stressy when he's driving somewhere unfamiliar and my little girl is that bit older now (she was 3 when we drove and was an absolute gem

And I don't actually think it would make much sense economically either. My eurostar tickets usually come out at around £65-69 per person when I book well in advance and with us coming from so far up North it could potentially end up costing more to drive
