Help!! I need all info about All Star Sports

I have a sudden opportunity to visit in Oct and take my 21 year old sister. She doesn't have a lot of $, so we are staying at a value. The only one with rooms left then is Sports. I've never stayed in a value. Not a snob or anything, we have 3 kids so we've always stayed at Shades of Green or a Deluxe. But since it is just the 2 of us and $ 670 for room and dining for both I thought it was a deal.

the main pool will be closed until Oct

this resort is being rehab.

the only part that is known to be finished is the baseball area. So that is what everyone is trying for...

I'd like to know how far it is to the bus stops and food courts. There are no other food places correct?? I didn't pay for preferred, wasn't offered and didn't know to ask for that. So I just want a realistic picture

then definitely ask for baseball (home run).

It is almost inbetween both Sports and Music food court. and yes food court is the only selection.

It took less than 5 minutes to walk from home run to the food court. So it is not far at all. bus stop are in front of this building so add another minute.

if you get home run - then just walk thru touchdown (football) and you are in the food court (there is a back entrance really close to touchdown that hardily anyone uses)

In terms of the preferred sections or not, on my last trip I didn't pay for preferred but when I got there we were put in a preferred room. It was in the Surfs Up building which is right next to the main pool and steps from the food court and buses.

It's not my favorite hotel but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
