Ok so maybe i'm panicking but i just cheked the online bookings for DC for July next year and they reckon that they are all booked up. AAAARRRGGHH! should i call them (i'm in Australia so i'm trying to book stuff online if i can) or should i just assume that they haven't actually reallyopened them yet as it is still 13 months away and check back later? Need some serious advice on this one as being from OZ we only get to USA once every 18months at a stretch.

Well, they show every single day of March, April and May '06 open, then July through November as fully booked, so I'd assume they simply aren't taking July reservations yet. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Have you been before? It's an incredible place!

no this will be my first trip to orlando in 21 years, i was five the last time i went... we went to MK,EPCOT, SW and circus world, which my mum said was the WORST theme pk she ever went to... so i am more than a little excited about comng over in june/july next year,..... dolphin swim plus the access to sw and busch ijust sounds so good....

i guess that i should probably check back regularly to see when they open the ressies yeah?

ty for stopping my panic!

Make sure you get to DC early. The day goes by so fast there and it is so relaxing. At SeaWorld, if you like roller coasters, Kraken is the best one I've ever been on!

email them off the website, they will give you an update and possibly book your res now.

We went last July 4th. I tried to make my reservations in May of 2004 and at that time the person on the phone told me that reservations could be made only 1 year out. So,don't worry, call back and ask them to clarify their policy for you!
You'll love DC!!!

If you can, stay at the Renaissance Resort, which is directly across the parking lot from SWF. That way, it's a short drive from DC, and then you can literally walk to SWF to watch the fireworks show. The Renaissance has good rates during the holidays like July 4th. Here's my web site from 4 years ago to give you an idea of what to expect.

It was reading this report that clinched my booking Discovery Cove, so thank you loads! We leave tomorrow for Disney and are booked for next Saturday at DC. I have kept it a secret from my 14 year old daughter and my friend from NZ who is joining us there and hope to keep it secret right up until the last moment.
