Help: I have a family that totally hates Disney

So I was recently thinking about trying to get into the Disney College program, but now I'm a bit discouraged. See my family thinks everything Disney should end when your ten years old. So I guess I need some encouragement. Any would be great.

The best encouragement that I can give is well…
1. It’s your life and you should do what you want to do, not what others want you to do.
2. Disney is a huge worldwide company that’s known by everyone as a respectable enterprise. Can you imagine the doors that would fly open by having the name Disney on your resume?
3. It’s a great experience that will allow you to broaden your mind, and earn work experience in a secure environment that will encourage you to learn and to grow.
4. It’s one of the best way’s to get your foot in the door while still in school. This way, once you graduate, you’ll have all these contacts that you’ll be able to use in your professional career, no matter what you do. (Also, there’s probably no better place to network then Disney).

And... if Disney ends when you're 10 then why are there hundreds of thousands of adults not only making money there, but also having a great time doing it?

My inlaws HATE Disney and sort of laughed when I told them I wanted to work there. I told them they would be able to go at a discounted rate and they didn't even care. They pretty much made fun of me but who cares because I'm happy. So do whatever will make you happy is my advice. :

You shud count yourself lucky tho. Out of my mum, dad, step mum and step dad i have one who hates america, one who doesnt care much for travelling, one who is indifferent to america and one who loves it.

Tis hard when i love the place so much!

LOL.

Ah well, 9am tommorrow morning i get on a plane to Tampa and Orlando for a week! OH YEAH! Im in a good mood today! LOL
