Help HP printer problems

Hi all,

I have weird problem with my HP 4140 printer that is print copier and scan. The odd part is I can make copies from easily. But I can't print nothing from a file or the internet it gives me a error. I did buy remanfunted hp 22 color ink and put it in.

Then a virus hit the computer. Took the virus and everything was working fine.

Tried to set-up my wireless network today and took the printer offline. Now the only the copier works.

I also ran printer diagnostic test on it everything is fine and prints the test sheet just fine.

Anyone have ideas why its acting odd.

What is the error? If you log onto the computer using another user name does it do the same thing?

I would do an uninstall. Then reboot the computer. Then go in through windows explorer and delete any remaining HP files, empty the recycle bin, and do another reboot.

Then do a reinstall from the original disk. Then go online to HP and download any update drivers.

I have done all that. That one the first things that I thought of. Was uninstall and reinstall the printer.
