Help...how to get hair die off of hands?!

Okay... now it's me! Geese... major blond moment #2 for today!

Yup... well, I finally took the plunge and died the gray out of my hair... but forgot to wear the gloves.:rotfl2:

Any advice on how to get my hands back to normal color again?
I tried dish soap with scrubbing brush, no luck.

I have about 3hrs before going to work in the public tonight... hope to get them a little better by then. :thumbsup2

DH says it will take about a week to wear off, which is fine... just in time for our trip!!

Have you tried lemon juice? I know that lemon juice (freshly squeezed or organic bottled) and a little bit of sugar will get off self-tanner... I'd think it would help with hair dye too.

We just have lime juice and sugar... but I'll try it, thank you so much!!

If you have some of those cotton pads, or cotton balls, squeeze the juice on it and then put like a teaspoon of sugar on it and use it as a scrub. Or you could probably just squeeze some of the juice on your hands and use the sugar on your hands as a scrub without the cotton ball/pad.

Use plain bleach in little water and soak and use the nail brush it should come off or does for my gals or some use Vivid but would have to go to store for that it also is great to get color out of clothes if it gets on them:cheer2:

If you have kids (or yourself) that use the Oxy pads wipes, they work great. I've also used nail polish remover, but if you have sensitive skin be careful!

I know this sounds crazy, but try scrubbing with toothpaste. Works for me!

If you have a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser-that might take some of it off. Worked for me once!

If you have a beauty supply store near you, go!! They make a hair color remover for the skin in a bunch of different brands.
It works! I've used Manic Panic in my hair, in blue, green, pink, etc, which is a gel stain and that stuff has worked to remove it quickly.

GOOD LUCK!!

When I was having my hair dyed by a hairdresser friend in his home, he got some on my shirt and back. He used hairspray to remove it and it works great. Usually the cheaper the hairspray, the better it removes the dye.
