Does anyone know how many points I would need to rent for a disney cruise?. We want to go on a four day cruise, late September, probably the 28th. 2 adults and 2 kids - oceanview cabin.

Points on the cruises are PER PERSON. I didn't know the ages of your kids, so I'm listing the point amounts and you can total the ones you need.

Category 9 is a deluxe ocean view stateroom:
101 points adult
47 points child (3-12)
53 points 13 and over

Category 7 is deluxe room with navigator's verandah:
118 points adult
47 points child (3-12)
53 points 13 and over

If you need more, let me know! Cruise line site has room layouts by category, too.

In all likelyhood, renting points for a cruise won't be cost effective.

You might want to submit a rate request to Dreams Unlimited for your travel dates to at least get a comparison rate.

Disney Cruise Line often has some discounted cash rates when cruises are booked this far ahead. They don't offer similar discounts for DVC point reservations.

Good Luck!

its just a way better deal paying cash for cruise. then rent your points for $10. + per point:Pinkbounc
