HELP haan vs. shark

Hi! For everone who ended up getting the Eureka 313A I have a couple questions...

I have a kitchen tile floor, it is not a shiny finish like my bathrooms but a dull finish with some deep grooves. Cleaning this floor is a nightmare, it traps dirt and sand, and if you spill food on it I swear it turns into cement as soon as it hits the floor. I have a Hoover Floor Mate and the brush does not get deep enough. I don't think this floor has ever passed the white sock test! Has anyone had good luck with the Eureka on tile floors where the texture has some deep grooves?

Also... has anyone seen it for sale at a B&M store? Walmart.com and Bestbuy.com are sold out. Amazon shows it as shipping in 1 to 3 months! :scared1: Makes me wonder if a new model is coming out??

Thanks for your help!

I am interested in this from my hardwood floors. So do you basically sweep or vaccuum the floor first, then go over it with the steam mop?

Is there something that does both at the same time...(vaccuum and steam clean) or am I living in a fantasy world with rainbows and unicorns?

Do I see correctly, the price for the Eureka on Amazon is $69? That is cheaper than I expected. Just making sure I found the right one. 313A enviro, it says...so I guess so.

I just noticed how old this thread is. If anyone that previously posted has a review of whatever steam mop they purchased, please post!!!

Several weeks ago on QVC, Haan had a new sweeper/steamer mop. You may want to check that out.

My Eureka 313A envirosteamer just arrived yesterday. I have used my sil's shark steam mop, the least expensive version and I didn't like that you have to push on the handle to create the steam and it had to 'rest' a bit during cleaning. I have barely tried the eureka (I need to sweep first), but I wish the pads were microfiber. I don't think I like the pads. It is silent! The steam is continuous and HOT. My floors are mostly laminate and they dried almost instantly.

Any more reviews/tips on the eureka?

1. Where did you order yours from? I feel like Charlie Bucket trying to find the golden ticket!
2. I read on someone's review that Libman replacement mop cloths fit. I think they are microfiber.
