Help! Ever receive fax at DVC resort?

Has anyone ever received a fax while they were staying at a DVC resort (we're specifically at OKW)? I certainly hope we can get one there. DS graduated from college a few weeks ago, and this vacation has been planned for months. But the company he's (hopefully) going to work for called tonight and his contract will be ready to be faxed to him Monday or Tuesday for his signature. Please tell me that they can fax it to him there. And then can he fax it back? This would make such a unique graduation trip! So if you're going to be at OKW next week, and see a 6 tall boy with his head about 20 feet off the ground and a big smile on his face, that's DS!

He should be all set to receive the contract and fax back his signature.

Just wanted to say congratulations to you and your DS! You must be just busting out all over with pride (deservedly so). Maybe we should be looking for parents with smiles a mile wide!!!!

Yes, as Doc stated. I had this done 12/2002. All I needed was proper ID. There was no charge for me to receive. Guess I got lucky.

I have! Last summer I received a number of faxes at OKW and was not charged. I was chaged either a reasonable amount for sending (it wasn't memorable). Disney Resorts are very accomodating. I think they realise no one wants to transact business on vacation and they make it as painless as possible. Several years ago at ASMu I had to complete the sale of my house, received a fed ex and they were able to get me a notary at the front desk right away and had no problem fed exing documents out. Disney CMs are a lot nicer than some Hotel Business Centers I've dealt with. Your son should have no problem conducting his business at OKW. Just a tip: my cell phone tended to work better out on the balcony than in the room (don't want to get cut off in the middle of a conversation!)

hi and congratulations to you and your son! we've received faxes at bwv several times- once when our youngest and his friend had to take a science test. they really don't like to let them miss tests in high school. i don't remember any charges or they were very reasonable charges.

We have received many faxes at OKW and never had a problem-----since your fax seems extra important I would alert them that you are expecting a fax----you can always call the front desk and ask if any were received for you----Good Luck
