Help deciding on dates for March/April 2017!

Hi All!

I routinely visit WDW and have been in: April, May, Sept., Oct., Nov., & Dec. This trip will be special since i am taking my very vibrant 73 year old Dad who has NEVER been to a Disney park in his life! (I know, right?!) So I really want to make this a special trip! It will be just the two of us & I am planning to rent points to stay at BWI villas (I've already checked and as of today there is still availability for the entire month of March) My quandry is this: Do I go at the beginning of March (his Bday is the 4th), or wait until the end of the month into early April? Crowd calendars indicate moderate crowds at the beginning of the month (due to Mardi Gras and a large dance competition), then a small period of light, more moderate (early spring break crowds) and late in the month into early april is light again, before the masses arrive over the Easter holiday. Thoughts? Suggestions??? Thank you!

The first week of March will be your best bet by far. Many schools around the country have spring break in March, regardless of when Easter is. Very little of the month will be light or even moderate. The second full week of March is actually one of the busier weeks of spring break (almost all Texas public schools are out that week, for example), and Touring Plans has it as a 9 for most of the week.
