Okay so we have 2 day hoppers that we have to use by December that we couldn't use on our last stay. So we decided on Thanksgiving weekend. I was thinking of preferably 4 nights. So the deal I was able to get through my travel agent was Pop for $396. No availability for any moderates. We stayed at Pop for our last visit last month and before that we have stayed at Carribean. We really loved Pop but luckily snagged a King as we were only with our 3 month old at the time. This time our dd 12 will be with us. So we just found out that if I cut it to 3 nights I can get Port Orleans for $476. Won't know which Port Orleans based on what is available my first choice would be Riverside. Again we loved pop but not sure about full beds. I have always wanted to stay at PO...but not sure if its worth cutting a day, even though we only have two day hoppers. Any advice?

Would it be real annoying to do a spilt stay? Thinking maybe 2 days in each might equal out the cost. PO is a lovely resort... It is def our fav mod. But 4 days would sure be nice. Enjoy!

So one less night for $80 more at a preferred hotel. That's tough. But considering your 2 day tix and the holiday would it be easier to do 3 nights? It depends on your travel considerations and what you want to do beyond the mouse for that 4th night to be worth it.

About the beds, it's a little unclear what you're being offered. Would your DD12 sleep on the floor/cot if you got a King? I stayed at POR and the room was tight with fulls. POP is smaller. Personally I prefer POR theme, but realize POP could be great for kids. It's a tough call.

That's a tough call for sure. It would be a no brainer for me since I don't like Pop, I'd go POR. You've stayed at Pop and evidently enjoyed it so you know what the resort is like. If you only have 2 day tickets that extra 4th day would most likely be a resort day so it probably wouldn't be a big loss. If you can swing it, I'm swaying to POR.

The extra day sounds really nice, but at Riverside you could get a King bed and you daughter could sleep on the pull down bed. I'm sure they would book you in that room and not on the mansion side with 3 people.

If there is anyway you can do 4 nights at POR I would go for that. The beds are definitely worth it. We stayed at both and Pop's beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have had at Disney. Plus you can take the boat to Disney Springs and the food court is really nice. It is such a beautiful resort, I guess I just prefer POR because it is my favorite moderate.

The thing is with the exclusive they are offering only 3 nights are available for Port Orleans. At the price point they are offering I can afford four nights but they don't have availability. But the travel angent responded after I posted this and said I can book for the 3 nights and she can keep checking if the fourth is available at PO. I am hoping for 4 nights because we will be driving 10 hrs Tuesday night and hoping to leave Sunday afternoon.

Only 3 nights are available for that price point but the agent said if I book she will keep checking for the fourth night availability.

POR has queens and Pop would be two full becausebof the 12 year old and baby. My husband is 6 ft tall and would be really uncomfortable in the full. We did like it over CB but we had a king because it was just us. It was nice having one bus stop and are room was really close to the food court and pool. But I would like the space.

Thanksgiving is going to be crowded and I would go for the extra day no matter which.

Looks like you answered your own question. Hopefully your TA can find you another night, key is flexible on whatever room is open.

I think I am going to book PO for the 3 nights and after a week or two if she can't add the night I will do the last night at Pop. Thanks for everyones opinion. It is a hard decision.

Is that an option? I thought that the Murphy beds were only in the rooms with 2 queens...

I looks to me like they are, but it would only be the bayou side. I know the mansion side does not have them in any room. I have only stayed in the mansion side so I have not personally seen them but......image.png

I hope she can get you an extra night! You will love PO
