Any suggestions for comfortable slip on work shoes (I work in a business casual office)? The most comfy shoes I own are my Flo Jo flip flops. I need something like a flip flop but appropriate for the workplace.

I'd prefer to walk around barefoot :)

When carrying DS, I was really swollen. I wore cotton canvas espadrilles. They had stretchy elastic across the top to allow for my expanding feet through the day.

I had to go up a size, and wear sandals. It was a good thing I delivered at the end of the summer with both, instead of the end of the winter. Good luck to you.

I loved my Berkenstocks when I was pregnant. They have sandles and clogs. QVC has the best prices and you can return them w/in 30 days, even if you've worn them.

I went to Payless and bought a pair of sandals and slip-on canvas sneaks - in the men's section! But they were roomy and comfy for the last month or so.

Good luck!

Order the black Croc clog asap you will be in heaven. GO to Dicks & figure out your size. The Beach model is wider. They also on line have a sandal look that is black & you can wear in the office without comment.

Thanks! I might take a lunch trip today to try on some Crocs. Do you wear socks with them? I hate wearing socks!!

Socks are optional with Crocs. I recommend the Professional model for the office - they don't have the holes, which makes them a little less conspicuous/more professional looking, but they do have side vents to allow some air circulation. I think your feet would be too hot in the Aspens. I have Aspens and love them, but only for the winter - way too hot for spring or summer, and especially if you're pregnant!

I told my husband that I felt like I had sausages for feet when I was pregnant. I had the hardest time finding shoes that were comfortable. I wore my birkenstocks mainly because the straps are adjustable. I also went and bought shoes in wide widths. It helped alot. At home I was literally "barefoot and pregnant".

Here's some suggestions

Birkenstocks
Bjorn shoes
Easy spirits (Wide widths)
Clarks in wide widths

I also found a pair of sandals at the Nine West outlet store in wide width that became my mainstay shoe through my 9th month.

I wore the crocs---these came in soooo handy after Katrina---no power for weeks and I was 9 mths prego. These were all that I could wear. I still wear them to work. Good luck.
