So, I have been on hold 2 times this morning for over 1.5 hours each. I called at 7am and again about 11am. I am trying to get a cabana rental. I think they have blocked my number. This is crazy. I think I can recite the music and announcements! Is this typical? I know you can all feel my pain............

As you can guess I am trying to fill in my wait time............
 
Yes, that seems to be the typical wait time lately for the cabana rental line. The last time I had to call to inquire about a cabana rental for a client was last week, and I was on hold for almost three hours.
 

so, i just got off........2.5hrs. No cabanas available. It is certainly not the cast member's fault. I wish that disney had a way of showing availability. It doesn't have to be for booking just availabilty. So sad..........oh well.............

Are you 60 days out? I read somewhere that cabanas could be booked 70 days out (60 + 10?) I want to book a Beach Club cabana on July 5th. According to my calculations, with my trip starting July 2nd, I can call on May 3rd to book. Does that math add up?
 
I called the AP hotline, requested a callback, got one 30 mins later but the CM was like "oh you need a callback from the AP hotline" (which is why that's who I called?), and 2.5 hours later I'm still waiting. Maybe I should try calling again?

I don't see why cabanas are not bookable online. It seems silly that they're not and that you have to waste so much time waiting to get nowhere.

And what is with the wait times for anything on the phone lately? It's crazy.
 
I was on hold for over 2 hours to book a cabana and this was the 3rd time I tried. First couple of times, I quit after 2.5 hours. It seems like they only have a single person to handle those types of bookings.
 
A couple of weeks ago, I had to call about my AP. Called the AP number. Was on hold for three hours, and finally hung up to go to bed.
Brutal.
 
I sat on hold for 3 hours and 2 minutes last night. I needed my AP to override my resort stay for a park reservation.

Previous to that, I tried twice at work - one with a call being 1 hour before having to hang up and another being 1.5 hours before having to hang up.

So frustrating.

Depending on when you are going June just opened up for everything but AK for 1 day for resort guest.
I just spent 2.5 hours on hold waiting to move my HS day because I couldn’t get it moved even with all green and I didn’t want to miss my chance.
