Hello from Sunny Florida!

Hi everyone, boy is it hot here!
I tried posting the other day and I lost the post, so here goes again.
We've been here since last Tuesday night late. We rented a condo at Regal Palms resort out on Hwy 27. We won't do that again. It's too far away from the attractions. We did the first 3 days at Universal, it was fantastic. We loved at the rides. I have lots of pictures to share, but have to wait to get home to do it. The Mummy was awesome if anyone is going there. Jimmy Newtron was hillarious. So much to tell you about.
Flight from Buffalo was great, no turbulence, was delayed 30 mins leaving and we arrived on time in Orlando.
We are in St. Pete's at my inlaws until tomorrow then we flight out from Orlando at 4:10pm. We are off to the beach now for the afternoon.
Downtown Disney was great as well, the Home shop is now closed and they are remodelling the store.

We have also rented a 3 bedroom pool home from Regal Palms in May. It is for the 2nd week of vacation and more for relaxing as our Disney portion of vacation will be onsite. Just wondering if it is a great spot other than the distance from the parks.

It's ok. Our was nicely furnished and decorated. We did not go to the lazy river, so I can't comment on that. It's a quiet place. The Publix is within walking distance. They were still building villas in the subdivision so we woke up to a truck backing up(beeping) for the longest time at 8:30am one morning. We also found on arrival home one evening that someone had been in the villa while we were out. We realized this as neither of us had taken the garbage out and it was gone. I was not impressed that someone was there when we were not. We could also tell by the dirty foot prints at the door that someone had been in. No nothing was taken, but the point is, I don't expect someone to be in the villa while we are not!
Would I go again? Probably not, I would rent a villa with it's own pool. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for letting me know. House is booked and paid for now, so I guess we'll just wait and see what it's like. We booked through Holiday House and think we got a good rate for the week, $1100 cdn. It's so hard to know where to stay when we've never been there before, guess I should have done a little more research.
