Just saw this thread. So glad to see we have a few Missouri DVCers'. My wife and I (Independence, MO, natives) first became members in 2000 then added on in 2001. My only regret is that we seem to rent our points out more than we use them.

Hi, all! I was searching for something else and came across this thread and thought I'd chime in. My family's DVC and has been since around 2001, with a home resort of BCV and an add-on at BWV. Love, love, LOVE the location, since Epcot's our favorite park!

Oh, and we're from Wildwood, which is a suburb of St. Louis.

Ah, another suburb of St. Louis. I am the OP and I knew there were a few of us out there. Missouri borders 8 states. We accept them too (close enough) and folks that are from Missouri but not here now. We will even accept anyone who would want to live here. (We need all we can get).

Oh and another thing........GO CARDS!! GO BLUES!! GO RAMS!!

Hi Everyone
Just found this thread, and am delighted to say we have been DVC members since 1995. Our home resort is OKW. My last trip was August 05, my Ds took his 16th trip to WDW and OKW in July, my 2nd daughter went in September.
Our 3rd daughter is currently working Guest Relations at the Magic Kingdom,she has been with Disney for 6 years, and our oldest daughter worked at the World Of Disney Store in Downtown Disney for 6 years, before coming home to get married 3 years ago.
Our next trip is hopefully Christmas 07, we are hoping to have the whole family dh, myself, our 5 kids, 2 son in laws, and 1 grandson gathered in a Grand Villa for Christmas Day.

We don't get to do that very often as we have a family farm operation and it is difficult for both my DH and my DS to be gone at the same time.

I haven't read through the whole list, but we are DVC members in MO too! We joined in 2002 at BCV and have also added on at SSR. We also have DVC members who live next door, and I know at least four other families in my area who are DVC members!

Did any other Missouri DVCers get the 3 free Rapid Rewards Credits from SWA because the Cards won the World Series? We did and DH and DD have now earned a free RT on SWA!!! I just used my free trip award last week but now I have 3 credits toward my next one! Thanks Cards and SWA!!!!!!!

we have been owners for about a year now (we actually bought resale and it was someone from Pacific, MO, about 10 minutes from here). Already did an add on (double what we started with) and are loooking to sell our initial small contract.

Our neighbors (3 doors down) are also DVC members.

Hi Missouri DVCers! Just wondered how everyone else has fared with the ice/snowstorm that swept thru Missouri Thursday & Friday. We had over 15 inches of snow on top of the sleet/freezing rain. First time I remember DH getting his 4 wheel drive truck stuck in the driveway! DH and DS finally got out and got tractor with loader going about 2 p.m. Feeding and checking cattle was quite a job yesterday! Thankfully, we didn't lose our power as many did in St. Louis area! Hope all of you are doing ok and have your power on too!

Anyone else wish they were at WDW yesterday?

We were OK in Eureka. It looked like (after going out today) the freezing rain hit about 3 miles east of us. We had about 4 inches of sleet with 1 inch of snow on top.
