Can someone please explain why the new Lilo & Stitch live action movies is being released on 5/23, not 6/26!!!

I know it is Memorial Day weekend, but that is a major missed opportunity!

The original was released 6/21...clearly they like dropping the ball haha

But they can make another push to return to theaters on 6/26...maybe??!

I was on a bus in WDW last week and saw a young one with her mother and a new Stitch doll. I asked how they liked their new 626 and the mother gave me a very strange look. It turns out they never saw the movie. It really spoils the moment when you have to explain what you mean LOL.
