Yeh actually but I'd need more than a day.

Ohhh okay now I got it....

No no I really don't......

Oh well! :)

was this inspired by me?? haha probably not but..

I'm 5'6 and I'm taller than most of my teachers and all of my friends.

it was:)

I have had orthopedic problems most of my life that I think are caused largely by my height, which is 5'10". I wish that my body had spent more energy on making me stronger instead of taller because I don't have nearly enough upper-body strength.

?

At 5'10 Ive never had any sort of orthopedic problems.

I

I'm 5ft 7in, nearly 5ft 8in.
But it feels a lot taller because all of my friends are like 5ft 1in/2in D:
I like being tall-ish, I'm almost tall enough to be a model (like I would anyway, but..) and I'm tall enough to be cabin crew on an airplane :)

I'm about 5 ft 8in.
Not that crazy about being tall. At first it was because I really wanted to be a Broadway actor, and they usually hire short people. But even though I decided that I probably don't want to do that, I still have mixed feelings about my height. I'd rather be a little bit shorter.

I don't fly much so I really haven't noticed the size of the flight attendants. Are they required to be tall? I do remember seeing an interview with a manager of a modeling agency who said that height was essential to modeling and, for reasons that she didn't state, restated that they really needed it. I have noticed that the women in modeling competitions like beauty pageants are generally tall, but I suppose poised short women head into things like classical dance because I have never seen a tall ballerina.

As for being bothered that boys are shorter, good things do come in little packages ladies. Are you sure that the guys are rejecting you because you are tall and that you are not rejecting them because they are not tall? I remember seeing on 20/20 I think it was that shorter men had to be portrayed as practically gods to get women to give them a second look. One of the men there was a surgeon, a gourmet cook, etc. and still got very few responses from women when he registered for a dating service because he was 5'3".

I am too old for Teen Disney, but I am fascinated by what young people are thinking so I came in here anyway and found this interesting thread. I am old enough that I have seen good women, whom men would have loved to have been with, price themselves out of the market by insisting that men always be older, taller, richer. This is particularly easy for a very successful woman to do.

Yeah you've gotta be like 5ft 8in or 9in to be a catwalk model
And I think it's 5ft 5in on most airlines so you can open the doors and stuff like that in an emergency.
