I can't believe that it has been a year today that we all heard the news of his passing. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding his death, he was an amazing actor with so much potential left. When I think about little Matilda growing up without him, my heart breaks for her. I hope she grows up learning about all the positive things that made up her father. From the reports, he was a truly devoted Daddy first and foremost. Hopefully,the pap leaves Michelle,Matilda and the rest of the family alone today and lets them remember Heath in their own way.

They were discussing this last week on the news. So many thought it was ironic that the noms would be announced on the anniversary of his death. I really do hope that he wins the award. He would be the 2nd person ever to win posthumously(there have been 7 others nominated posthumously)

It's a great article. I read mine the second I got it.

Heath being nominated is a split feeling for me. Being the Heath fan that I am, I would love to see him win it. But, the fact that I'm a fan of his and I know he hated being nominated/winning awards makes me think I don't want him to get it because it's what he would have wanted. There's a great story about how he didn't like awards shows in the EW article.

Heath is my favourite actor and will most likely remain to be until I die. He had so much potential and I'm sad that it will never be seen.

But, I'll be first in line to catch The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus when it comes out, though there's no listed US release date on IMDB. It's slated for June 6th in the UK, so that's about when we should be seeing it. I'm excited for it. Almost as much as I was for The Dark Knight.
