We don't really know what happened to him. It could have been any number of things. I really dislike all the speculation.

All I can say is that I am very sad. I too first saw him in 10 Things, and then loved him in Knight's Tale. He was handsome and a great actor, and Hollywood has lost a gem. I am still just so shocked, like it hasn't sunk in fully, and even though I didn't know him, I still feel a great loss. Prayers to his family and friends. I had done quite a bit of searching, and no where did I read that he had any type of drug problem, and just that he was taking Ambien to help him sleep. I hope we find out soon what they know really happened. I don't think he would kill himself, but if he was having depression, you never know. May he Rest In Peace.

Very few celebrity deaths upset me like this one.

This is how I feel. The last time I was this upset over a celebrity death was John Ritter.

Heath was such a great actor. I feel so bad for his daughter. I have a 2 year old little girl and I can't imagine how sad and confused she would be if her father were no longer here. May he rest in peace.

I am still in shock over what happened, no matter how he died he is gone and his poor daughter will never get to know him.

It is very very sad. I live in NJ very close to NYC and last night after I got home from work and had dinner etc. I watched Larry King and they showed them bringing out his body and I got very upset. I know some may say who cares, but he was 28 years old, I am 29 going to be 30 in 2 weeks and I was just so moved by that image and I was a big fan of his.

Since I was having dinner with my mother we drove into the city, got a small bouquet of yellow flowers nothing fancy and I wrote a note to Heath. All the news media was there and they were getting ready for the 11 o'clock news. I wasn't there to be on TV I wanted to pay my respects. I was moved, I felt terrible.

I just hope that where ever he is, he is peaceful. Just so very very sad.

PS - I'm not a lawyer (& haven't played one on TV AND didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, *but*...) I sure wish someone could come up with some laws that could be used to take this bunch down, oh, I don't know...maybe the Federal RICO statutes, maybe their tax-exempt status as a church, etc.

There is a "press release" of some kindon the WBC homepage (I googled it after reading here about the picket). I couldn't even stomach reading the release nor even allowing the website to finish loading up. It's disgusting...truly truly hate filled and disgusting. I don't know what god they worship, but it certainly isn't my God.

His death had nothing to do with the movie. The movie was make believe. Heath isn't gay. I have no idea what they could possibly have to protest.

Wow, I am just shocked beyond belief. I JUST found out this news about 30 mins ago. I don't watch tv and went to bed early last night. My DH calls me at work and tells me because he knew I was a huge fan of Heath's. Wow, this is so sad. I wish the media would quit speculating about how it happened and wait for the acutal coroner's report before anyone jumps to conclusions. All I know is, he was an amazing actor who was just reaching his prime and he had a beautiful little girl who will now grow up without a father. It's just very, very sad.

Oh my gosh me too. I loved John Ritter. I still have a hard time seeing re-runs of 8 Simple Rules. I too am just stunned!

I agree that we don't know. I'll wait till the coroner makes his ruling, but because he was found face down on his floor with pills all around, to me this suggests that he hadn't even taken the pills yet.

The detective I saw speak said that contrary to reports there were not pills all around him,but there was a bottle of sleeping pills on the dresser, and he was in his bed
