Head's up for Portland Me to Tampa in July

Hi everyone, I was fooling around on Yahoo Travel and found flights (many of them on different carriers -delta, continental, northwest, united for July) from Portland Me to Tampa for $134.30 round trip !!!! That is an awesome rate !! its very comparable to Southwest out of Manchester NH - only now i won't have to pay parking or take the bus to Boston ! I am so excited .. I have done the drive from Tampa to Orlando before , its a breeze ! I was renting a car anyway .. so it works out to be almost the same amount of $$ to fly out of my home town (only downside is connecting flights - but we flew Airtran out of boston last time and had connectors wasn't too bad plus my kids are bigger) ! just thought this might help some New Englanders.. Thanks Michelle. Got 4 of us Portland to Tampa for $129each for Oct.
Rental car was cheaper than Orlando too. I saved enough I might get
to go in June too. Got to get the best use out of the APs.

Sure not a problem -- if you are renting with budget there is a walmart code W810011 that ususally give a pretty good discount.. I have flow into to Tampa twice once in 2001 and 2002 its not a bad drive (2003 & 2004 flew to MCO ) I haven't flown out of portland since 1997 !!! it will be nice to not have to be up and out of the house at the crack of dawn for our outbound flight and then to fly in and only be 30 mins from home !!

Thank you for the info..Myfamily of 4 will be flying for $537 from Portland to Tampa in July...This saved me either driving to Manchester,paying more to fly from Portland or the cattle call of SWA. I am so excited...good flight times also.

Sure no problem and you will love the Beach club !! We had our first stay there in a Studio at the villas in Nov 2004 .. the pool is great ! and Yummy food at Beaches and Cream !!
