Headliner fastpasses later in the day?

In a recent thread it asked about getting a 4th and 5th FP at MK, later in the day. I'm curious about the other parks as well. Anyone at WDW currently or quite recently? Were you able to get HEADLINER FPs into the evening?

I am asking because for our trip next week we made all our FPs for the second park of the day, not the first. I'm getting worried that standby lines will be longer than expected in the morning at our first park of the day. We always spend time at the pool between parks, so wouldn't be at the second park until 4, 5pm.

That was our strategy 5/30-6/4. We thought it worked well. We were at the 1st park for rope drop each day.

We have a last minute 3day trip coming and did that strategy again. Only problem was no SDMT or A&E but we did just do those so we will try RD or just enjoy other rides. SM had NO line and we rode 3 times in the morning in less than 20 mins.
