Did anyone get a picture of this? He passed right in front of me before the parade and it was awesome. The CMs all around me said not to take any pictures of him and I didn't, but I saw tons of people taking pictures. I'd love to have a picture for when I make my scrapbook.

I have an extra snap shot if your interested from 10/5 (love the duplicate prints). It's not the best -- shows lots of the crowd but you are more than welcome to it. PM me if you would like me to send it to you.

I took a couple of shots on last Sunday but have not yet got them printed. If I got a good one I sure would be willing to share a copy with you.

PM me and I will let you know how they turn out.

BTW, I was sitting in Liberty Square right in front of the Liberty Belle. The parade route came right at me and then turned. There were 2 CM's and one "suit" who seemed to be directly and I never heard any of them say not to take pictures.

Where I was sitting, a couple CMc came up near me and told me and others not to take a picture of him, because they didn't want the flash to spook him. Maybe only the one near me was saying it. I wasn't too disappointed by not taking the picture; I thought the parade was great and got lots of pictures of that. And I was there on Sunday too. It was a great night.

that's how you know he's coming... the 'wave' of flashes!

We were told the same thing about not taking picture because the flash may spook the horse.

Awesome sight!

We were told the same thing by the cm's and heard them telling many others to please refrain from flash photos just while the horse was riding by. Many and I mean MANY people just disregarded this and snapped away. He is very close if you are sitting by the curb. I wouldn't want a spooked horse that close to my children and myself.

Wow....now I feel bad that I tried to take the picture...not knowing that it might "spook" the horse..

I thought about it ahead of time, but no one ever said anything about not taking a picture........and I tell you .....tons of people were trying to get a picture!!!!

If they had told us not to take the pictures....I would not have attempted to.....it did not turn out anyway! :(

I asked DH about this, he grew up with horses. His dad was a horse vet. Yes a flash can spook a horse but more than likely this horse is used to the flashes due to the number of times it does this parade. I too took a picture and all was fine.

I took a couple of pics, we were standing in front of the shooting arcade for the first parade and in front of the Mickey & Walt statue ( at the end of Main Street) for the second parade and NO ONE said anything about not taking pics either time. This was on the 14th. I get my pic back tomorrow, don't know it they came out ok, the rolls I already took in didn't have him on it, so probably not.
