Whew! This has been a busy week! I'm glad to have the appraisal behind us. Now we just wait for a closing date.

So, without much ado here is what we've been up to when we haven't been running in circles...
About two weeks ago we stopped by Kmart to pick up a few things. They were having a Little Pet Shop scavenger hunt. The girls thought it was a lot of fun running through the store looking for Little Pets. After you found everything you returned your sheet to the front to be included in a drawing for three limited edition LPS tigers. Of course we turned our sheet in. Late that evening, we got a call that Lindsey's sheet was drawn and she won! She was

. Here she is with her prize tiger..
A close up of the tiger...he's really shiny and marked. I had her put him up after she ooooed and ahhhhed over him just a teeny tiny bit..
Last weekend was Easter of course. We woke up to Easter baskets from the bunny and he left some eggs behind in the back yard. Here are my girls with their eggs...
We went to church after that and boy was it packed. We each put one of the girls on our laps and they had to put chairs in the entry ways for about 100 people. It was good to see everyone there and it was a wonderful service.

It was a beautiful day here and we spent the rest of it spring cleaning. We had planned to go to the zoo but when the appraisal went from the 16th to the 8th we thought we better get to work.
So that takes us up to yesterday...I was MIA because I had to make some cupcakes for the 1st b-day party for a friends (C) daughter. This friend is very particular (you know always perfect in everyway and with everything) so these cupcakes stressed me out. She wanted me to match the invitation which had bright colored daisies. She wanted her daughter initial's and the number 1. Well then she sent me a picture of cupcakes with forget-me-nots. I got confused sent her all of my cutters and let her pic and she still picked forget me knots. The shape of the fmn's was going to be hard to monogram as the centers are small leaving little room to write on.

So I made the cupcakes and the flowers but when it came to piping the monograms I hated how they looked.

I messed with it for hours last night. I just didn't like it so I assembled the cupcakes without the monogramming and called my neighbor and her BFF (K) to come over this morning. Since C was so adamate about the monogramming I wanted K's opinion. Anyway, we decided to just do it on a few...she didn't like how it looked either. Here's the final product....I like the colors but I hate that I ruined the flowers with the writing...
The last thing I want to share is some pixie dust the girls were sent from a wonderful DIS friend Dana (racefanof88). The girls loved everything Dana! Thank you so much for sending it!

They are thrilled with everything...you did so well!!!! Here are some pics.
Hurry up Sissy open it up and let me see...
Ooohhhh lanyards how cool!
Let me see, Let me see!!
Isn't this stuff the greatest!!! Thank you Mrs. Dana!!
Really, Dana thank you so very much. It was so nice and kind of you to think of the girls. They are so happy with everything.
Today we will be chilling out. Both girls' softball practices were cancelled due to a tournament on the fields for boys...

I hope to get caught up on everyone's TR's and PTR's. Hope everyone has a wonderful sunny weekend!!!!!!!!!!
