Heading back to Princess Josie's Castle-An AKV May 22-29 PTR-TR Started 6/3!

That's fine Megan- I understand busy:goodvibes. I spent over an hour on the phone with the T today. He speaks highly of you and noted you on my request for info. There are some great incentives for us to buy this month. I have to spend some time with Joe the next day or so explaining it all to him. I don't know if I can convince him to buy without having a look for himself at the quality of the rooms. :confused3 I'm giving it a good try though! T makes a good point in that it makes sense to buy now before we go in May since they are giving you double the points. On April 1, I would have two years worth of pts available to me. I would no longer have to pay for the Poly (I could use pts at AKL and I would save approx $400 on AP's....then if we use the left over pts in November when we go for my Mom's VR we would get back even more of our investment. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I'm so geeked up about it now but I know in the back of my mind that Joe won't commit without seeing for himself. :sad2: I hope school requirements ease up as I'd like to chat with you about it more. :goodvibes Here is me right now...:hyper:

I'm glad you had a great chat with him. He is really good at his job. He gives you a no-nonsense approach, but it makes so much sense that you really want to buy right away. We got double the points as well when we bought, but we had restrictions to use them at SSR only. That AP discount is just fantastic! Bryan was the same way. we could have bought before our Feb. 08 trip, but he had to sit and talk to him first. I'll try to get some info to you this weekend sometime.

DVC...how exciting that you are even considering it! Good luck convincing your DH! :wizard:

We are still trying to decide about Alice. Bella really wants to see it, but I'm nervous for her. She told me she could just cover her eyes through the scary parts. It's good to know that Josie ended up liking it. Decisions, decisions!!! :rolleyes1

Hmmm...Maybe I should invest in some of those for Lauren. She's right at 40" but I don't want to take the chance that she'll get turned away from the rides.

Glad you got to go out and have a date night! Mike and I are going out on one of those Friday. Can't wait! :yay:
It would be worth the $7-$10 just to make sure. :goodvibes Hope you have a fun date night!

Done--sent a message your way.

Looks like you had a great weekend! Date night--what a luxury! Does going to look at my DD's potential preschool room without her considered a date night? :rotfl: I don't think I am going to let Lilian see Alice in Wonderland until at least it is on DVD--I am little nervous about this one, I think it will be too scary for her.
I got your message Stephanie! :goodvibes I don't think checking out preschool qualifies as an official date night. :rotfl: If you are nervous about Alice I would definitely wait. It is probably a little less scary in the comfort of your home with the lights on. :)

I have a strong inclination that Joe still wants to see for himself and meet face to face about it. I'd hate to lose out on those double points though. Can't wait to hear more this weekend. :goodvibes

Hi Kayce! I will probably need a lot of pixie dust to get him to commit before we go on a tour. He's sold on the idea at this point but wants to see what we're getting for the money up close.

BTW, Did you see that GAD is closed now? Looks like you got in right in the nick of time. :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Josie just covered her eyes during Alice and was fine. She really did love it. It kept her in her seat the whole time which is a strong indication she found it very interesting.

:goodvibes How great is that! I know what you mean, though about your DH wanting to see them first. But double points? Wow!

You remind me of us last year. We were able to stay at the Poly (a dream) and we bought DVC on our trip. I'm so glad we got the chance to stay at the Poly. I know if you guys don't buy before you get there you will still have a wonderful time at the Poly and you will be glad you stayed. :goodvibes

Dale is a lot like Joe. He would want to see what he was getting too. I want to buy into DVC one day, just waiting for that day .

Hi Leanne:flower3:

I miss you too my friend, but believe me, I understand not being able to keep up all the time. I very rarely get time during the week to check in and this coming weekend Jasmine has a cheer competition so the chances of me doing an update are slim.

I'm so excited that you have DVC in your sights.....can't wait to hear how that's going to work out:woohoo:

Jasmine and I are thinking of doing a Sept trip if free dining is on and if we both save enough money....:rolleyes1

Totally understand Joe's point. You are me when I was trying to convince Bryan to do it. Joe is Bryan telling me that he wanted to do a tour and talk with Todd to see if I was really getting all of my info straight.

If you were already registered for your date and activity I think you would still be okay. I don't think they are allowing new registrations. Hope you didn't miss out...

Was still working out the details with the organization.... Oh well, wanna share?? :rolleyes1 j/k

I know it's so tempting (for me) to buy because of the great incentives. I think we're going to have to wait for him to see with his own eyes. He's not completely sold yet. I'm still trying though. :goodvibes

I am excited about the Poly. It looks fantastic. I'm hoping staying at deluxe will spoil Joe and he will be even more on board with DVC. I have an agenda girl.

Me too Dana. Dreaming of DVC over here....for a while now. He's agreed to spend some time going through the information this week....got my fingers crossed but I pretty much know that for him seeing is believing. :goodvibes

Hope the cheer competition has gone well! :goodvibes I have been busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kickin' contest this week and weekend. I've finally sat down for a little bit but I still have a bunch of stuff to do.

I know a DVC purchase is in my future just not sure when just yet. Probably May though. We're supposed to upgrade to AP's when we go in May....maybe I can make it down for a weekend and we can finally meet up.

Have a great weekend Queen!!

Your situation sounds exactly the same as mine. I think Joe is afraid I'm not getting all the info and we're going to get screwed over. I do understand his concern and I appreciate the value of speaking with someone face to face.

Was still working out the details with the organization.... Oh well, wanna share?? :rolleyes1 j/k
Bummer Mary! I've got two extra passes up for grabs each day....that is if you can meet me at the park at rope drop. ;)

I have been on the go since I got off work yesterday. I came home a little early to head to Nashville to meet Connie (longing2Batdisney) and her family for dinner. What a great family! We instantly hit it off and really enjoyed our visit. I took some pics and I will post them tomorrow probably. The kids did so well together.

We got home after 11pm last night so it was off to bed so we could get up early for Part #2 of Softball School/Camp. While we were at the facility I signed us up for a gym contract. Now I really have no excuses. ;)

After camp, Leona (the wife of the family travelling with us) and her daughter Lexi joined us for a trip back to Nashville. We met up with Connie and Danny again for a few minutes and then headed to Opry Mills for a little shopping. I got the girls some really cute dresses for our trip....pictures to come. :goodvibes

Well now I'm taking a break from working on my severly neglected home. I better get back at it! Hope you're all having a great weekend!

Leanne
