If one on Canada Avenue. I just stay there this past summer it the room was clean. The free hot breastfeast was excellent. Save me alot. Be sure check out Wednesday the offer light dinner which was a full meal.

I'm staying at the one on Palm Parkway - I think it might also be called Savona Suites??? not sure about the name thing. Anyway, this hotel was pretty much the only decent hotel that isn't booked the weekend I'm going. I really wanted to stay at the Pop, but oh well....

If anyone has stayed at this place, please let me know how it was...especially the location.

We stayed at the Hawthorn/Savana suites last year and found it fab. the staff were friendly, housekeeping very good. The breakfast is okay, nothing overly special but filling and free. The pool was very clean and we saw the men cleaning it every day whilst we were eating breakfast. the rooms were great and we found we have plenty of space for me my DH, and 3 DS. the fridge and full cooking facilities also came in handy as some nights we just wanted to crash out in the room after being at the parks all day and we bought hot dogs, fruit, etc, fries and made our own meals. The hotel overall was very clean. the only problems were that we couldnt rely on the shop there as it never seemed to be open and didnt stock much., and the shuttle, There was three pickups every morning and three back to the hotel, but you had to decide on the morning what time you would be returning and then most times the shuttle would be too full and you would have to squeeze on, allthough on the plus side, the drivers were very friendly and helpful and it is only about the third drop so you are not on the shuttle for long, Maybe ten/fifteen minutes.

I would highly recommend this hotel, it is cheap without being short of anything. In fact I will be staying at the Hawthorn again next August, but the one near seaworld, as being non drivers we wanted to be on the trolley route.

This is the former Savona Suites (although they're still in the process of changing all the signing). They had a rate of $69/night over the Thanksgiving holiday... for a 500-sq. ft. room complete with a full kitchen (including a dishwaser). They advertise a complete, hot breakfast daily, free booze/snacks during the week and a light meal on Wednesday. A huge bargain if you ask me -- too bad we didn't stay here. BTW, the property's only 5-years-old.

The property's on Palm Parkway, on the opposite side of street away from I-4... you won't get much of a view (if anything at all) but the location's outstading. The Vista Center shops (many dining options!) are a five-minute walk, Crossroads Shopping Center (and numerous other shops/resturants) are within 10 minutes, the Best Western LBV is within 15 (in case you want to use the DTD transportation system) and DTD itself is 30. Of course, you can always drive. And if you do have a car, you can use the nearly deserted Palm Parkway (which becomes Turkey Lake Road) to EASILY get to Sea World, Universal or I-Drive. The location is OUTSTANDING.

BTW, enjoy the virgin beauty of Palm Parkway/Turkey Lake Road -- many new timeshare developments will be appearing shortly (including Avista's, which is the ower of this hotel, and Phase II of Hilton Grand Vacations Club).

Ive stayed at the one near the airport, the one on Palm Parkway and the one on canada Ave near Universal. All of them have nice rooms but the one on Canada Ave is my favorite.The room is big, it's close to the attractions, and you cant beat the free hot breakfast in the mornings and free cocktails in the evening.

We stayed there as well and really enjoyed it. In particular, my DD absolutely loved the pool. In January, the pool was really warm. The free breakfast was nice, and the location is great for Sea World.
