What is the advantage/disadvantage of having 200 points at SSR and 50 points at BW? How would that work with the 11 month and seventh month windows at either resort?

Well, with banking and borrowing, you could have 150 points at BWV every 3 years or 100 points every other year. Withat, you could use the 11 month window for those vacatoins. In other words, you mucst have 100% of your points for a stay at the chosen resort be for that in order to use teh 11 mo. window. WIth banking and borrowing, though, those 50 points could periodically give you that.

The 200 SSR points may be used only at SSR 11 months ahead ( ... and the 50 BWV points may be used only at BWV 11 months ahead).

At 7 months, all of your points may be used at any DVC resort.

If you wish to make a reservation at BWV that requires more than 50 points, you will not be able to combine your SSR points for use there until 7 months.

In most cases, you will have success at 7 months- by using the waitlist for any dates not available immediately- so you should have good success combining points from two resorts for most dates.
