Having Lasik on Thursday

Having Lasik on Thursday afternoon. I have been wearing glasses and contacts for about 12 years and the last few years have had problems with contacts. I hate glasses and am looking forward to getting rid of them. Anyone had the procedure done and can tell me their experience?

I have, I now have only one eye , j/k worked great, it takes a few mo to get real clear vision but you will see better right away

I know three people where I work who had it done awhile back, and all were pleased with the results. I wish I wasn't so chicken, I'd have it done too. But since they won't "put me under" for the procedure, I guess I'll just put up with wearing glasses.

Had done 5 years ago and consider it one of the better things I have ever done in my life. I love it!

I had it done 5 years or so ago and consider it one of the best things I ever did for myself!! I HATED wearing glasses and my vision since the surgery is still 20/20 in the left and 20/15 in the right....it was 20/225 and 20/245 prior to the surgery. There is virtually no pain involved and it heals up very quickly.

I was worse than 20/400 and went to 20/20 in ten minutes with Lasik. That was 3 years ago, and I would get it for my son and daughter, but they are too young. Good luck! I love being able to see.
