As some of you might have known from my TR, Ryan got sick at Disney... not throwing up but sinus/throat infection. I felt bad letting him go to the belly dancer lunch and it was the only place HE wanted to eat at... that was HIS magical moment... he argued and whined with me over it and I gave in but I wasn't happy


I know its Disney, and I know not everyone gets to go more than once but SHEESH.... its only fireworks

Too bad I missed that thread chan... I might had to have chimed up.
I emailed you with what happened to savannah at UV 2 years back. It still gives me shutters when I think about it. People take FLorida vacations WAY too serious.

THEY DO! THey go all freaky and crazy! I mean, ok baby spit up I can take....been there done that, but this was a girl about 8-10 yrs old and about a 2 ft splat of vomit. These people were ready to leave when we got there....tons of dirty dishes and empty glasses....I just thought what a bunch of idiots. I have a friend that's an RN and she told me when soembody throws up there are spores in the air that carry GERMS ( the germaphobe in me coming out)...I don't care about any other germs, but don't pass me & my kids a vomiting bug on my DISNEY TRIP!!!!!

ChanningYou mean you moved your family inside just because of a little spit up....... and you call your self a good mom? I would have sat thru a lightning storm for seats like that for Illuminations! Some people just can't be pleased, let me guess, you only stay at that fancy Grand Floridian hotel.........

I know....I am just They were really ragging on me when I said the waiter came up to us and asked my girls to go with the girl that just 15 mintues ago puked her guts out and wave the "wand" or whatever it is to start Illuminations....I said NO. I didn't want them mingling with a sick germy kid. I was like...is this guy CRAZY? Maybe I am kind of vomit phobic, but who needs that? It ruined my night worrying who was going to vomit next?? I slept with one eye open, haha. OK, I admit, I am vomit phobic. I just think a vomiting kid doesn't belong in a restaurant. And it was so funny....they tried to "secretly" and discreetly clean it up...you know when the guys with the white outfits and latex gloves come in that kind of gives it away ......and then the smelly cleaning stuff they used to clean it. There were no breezes, it was a July evening and muggy and still....so it reeked. Just so unappetizing.

I know! I hear ya though....I am just a crappy mom for trying to keep my kids healthy....Illuminations is worth sitting in puke for. What was I thinking? I must have had one too many of those STellas.....

Just got back from CVS, got my video tape and last minute stuff for the trip. Mrs.Mike has packed the kids clothes already and we'll do ours tonight.
Got my tip money in one envelope and spending money in another.
I dont want to have to do anything tomorrow except bring the dog to the kennel and pick the kids up from school.
I'd like a quiet day before vacation for once.

LOL...it's making me rethink the renta car thingy....I was going to keep it thru our YC stay and then after we move to GF dump it at the Dolphin....I am thinking maybe ditch it after we check into the YC. I don't need to be responsible for a rental car in the unsupervised, unsecure YC parking lot.

I emailed Carla and asked her if she'd do some tees/tanks for us for our July trip. She is REALLY REALLY GOOD. She has professional machines and the items look store bought only better.

Um...did you take a peek at the thread on the Resorts Board about that poor person that had her car broken into at the YC. Unfortunately I KNEW which way that thread was headed from post #2. It's so pathetic people can't just be KIND to eachother. They have to rip into every word, every situation....nobody can win here on the DIS. There seems to be no empathy left. It's crappy. It is sad to see people are so mean and heartless.

Yep, that's pretty much what I thought too....exactly. People just are so PERFECT on the DIS, aren't they? You can't win if you want sympathy here....there was always something you did wrong.

I do feel like im in a paradise when im at Disney (im sure many people do actually) Instead of 10 rude crazy people a day like at home we usually meet only 1 of them a day at Disney.

I think that is what is going wrong with society. Who cares what happens to others so long as it's not me. People are just jerks and unfortunately jerks seem to like to vacation at WDW. What is going on????? I have totally noticed the quality of guests and their behavior slipping over the years....jerks raising jerks. OK - that's a whole nother thread that's gonna get me BOOooooed.

Yeah I hear you about the rudeness in general of Disney guest. I swear if you compliment a CM they looked shocked and don't know what to say

My DH is a dork~ just had to mention this

OKAY I sent him to the store to get me some tylenol as I have a sinus headach. Well he comes back with 2 types of tylenol... the regular old kind and the new rapid release kind. He tells me he wasn't sure which one I wanted...
I looked at the price and both were about the same... a few pennies off...
SO I look at him and well... if you have ever Watched Bill Engvall... gave him a sign
Oh yeah I would much rather use the slow release stuff so my headache can stick with me longer... I just love having to wait another 45 minutes for it to kick in
