I hope everyone is well. I like DL but its soo small compared to WDW.

this was taken at the Minnie Mouse bfast in the magic kingdom.....Jojo had JUST lost her front tooth and she and Dale got a kick out of being "twins"....The rest are just misc. pics....I did see at that bfast, the kids saw Eeyore, Tigger, Pooh, Capt Hook, Max, and Minnie. Odd combo but we were impressed with all the characters! They were GOOD ones, too.

I thnk this is the one with the climbers at the top of the Matterhorn. Mickey Mouse was up there. My camera wasn't so good back then, though!!! I need to go back!

We liked the DL Small World....we even spotted a mermaid!!!

Goofy's Kitchen brunch - it was AWESOME. GREAT food and wonderful characters.....I think we met the REAL Prince Charming. My girls just loved him and he was so suave and such a gentleman. What fun.

On the ride!!!! It was GREAT and it's fast pass is not tied into the others so we did it over and over....

American Idol is killing me!!!

I am a Big Brother fan, thank goodness its next or I might fall asleep. I also have my General Hospital episodes Tivod. Why am I watching this????

I haven't really watched American Idol this year. Last year I was hooked to the tv. I am totally hooked on The Biggest Looser. My whole family just loves that show. Anyone else?

DH and I are so hooked on the Biggest Loser this season! We had never seen it before this season. Who do you think should be the last of the final three?

I was so happy that Ali and Kelly kicked butt last night. That was awesome!

I'm really enjoying your DL pictures, Channing; thanks so much for taking the time to post them. We had thought about going, but my brother talked me out of it; he said it was much too small. Nonetheless, we may still go some time. Was it a bit chilly when you were there? I see most everyone is wearing light jackets / long pants.

We have been BL fans from day 1! I really want Marc to make the finals b/c there is a better chance of a girl BL with that combo. If Roger makes the final then I'm pretty sure we could beat the girls out and win. I so want to see a girl win BL! I love Ali but I think Kelly has a better chance since she has more to loose!

My Tivo got all whacked out and did not tape AI while I was watching BL, was it any good????

I watched also and thought that was awesome! That was a lot of weight for one week. Wish I could do that! Hopefully a woman will finally win!

Good morning, ladies.

Mandy, AI was fine....it was "inspirational songs". It was OK, but nobody thrilled me enough to make me pick up the phone and vote. Nobody even stands out...except Carly sang Queen's "The Show Must Go On", and I LOVE Queen, but it was bleh. And Michael Johns - I like him - was bleh. Brook was eh. The girl that sang Whitney sang Fantasia's song and it was eh. I think these kids need some better performance advice behind the scenes. HONEST opinions and advice.

Linda, we have been to WDW a bajillion times and we didn't think we'd be so happy to be at DL (we wound up just kind of compromising on that whole vacation because our plan was to meet my parents - they live in AZ - in San Diego and have some fun and then we were moving on to DL to meet our other AZ friends, and my parents went to Palm Springs)...but anyway, my only regret was not spending more time at DL, and not looking forward to that DL trip as much as I now know I should have. It was just wonderful there. The weather was gorgeous with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s and in the eve in the 60s. Blue skies and sunny every day.

I watched a few BL shows back when it first came out and I just couldn't keep up I guess. Same thing with Big Brother. I am so terrible and got to the point where I like either trashy reality TV or classic oldies like Andy Griffith and I Love Lucy. Not much in between.


Oh...update....I even received a couple emails from the principal saying he agrees something doesn't seem right with those grades Lucy got. He hopes the teacher reevaluates the situation & makes it right. At least I got the message across that I think something is odd and I know I have support in that & feel validated. I don't think anything will change, though....she told Lucy the grades are in and basically it's a done deal. I really in my heart believe SHE lost the work and didn't grade it. If those grades were lower than Cs & dropped Lucy from honor roll (as it is it dropped her from HIGH honor roll) I would have had to raise **** **** .

Ladies I am freaking out! My little sis is going on a date this Friday night! She called me this morning and while we we're casually chatting about BL she mentions she is going on a date. She is 25 and never dated, she has been very focused on her career and has basically had the philosophy that she wanted to be financially set with out a man. She has a great job, great car (a hummer), and lives a very comfortable life with her dog and has alway been happy being single and not worrying about men.

She has meet a guy at our church and they are going on a date! Her first ever, and I am going into big sister mode and totally worried about her and don't want to see her get a broken heart (I had enough for both of us!)!

OMG, it gets worse! She called as I was typing this. DH and I are going to Disney Sunday (with out the kids) and she just called and asked if they could join us?!?!? Not sure I want to get to know this creep JK! I am just so over protective of my sister. We are VERY close and it is hard for me to deal with the fact that she is finally entering the dating world and might have to deal with some heart ache! Oh yea, he's 22! I tried to tell her that was a little to young. We are both old souls, I was married at 19 and my DH is 9 years older than I. And we both have friends 10-15 years older than us! We just gravitate to more mature people. Oh well, we'll see! I have to be careful b/c she lurks around hear!

I love the Biggest Loser!!! I post on the thread about it on the CB all the time!! DH sometimes watches, but he can't stand the crying ("sappier than Home Makeover"). I was super happy to see the girls kick butt!!! I haven't voted since I don't care which of the guys is in the final- I just want Ali to win!!

Thanks, Annette. Ya, I feel better just shining some light on the problem. I know it won't really help Lucy but it's not just her and at least the principal is aware. Her friend - she found out today - got a D!!! Other kids - now these are all the "gifted" kids - got Fs!!!!!!!! I would really be screaming if that happened to my kid. It is so undeserved. Obviously there is something going on.

I think it's a good thing you'll be meeting him soon. That way you won't be worrying and thinking up horrid images in your head. You will get to know him and like him OR, you can set her straight on the fact that he is a creep. I hope you and your DH turn out to like him, though, and the day is a fun one. I was so envious when I read you and your DH are going Sunday w/out your kids!!!

No worries!!!! Look forward to Sunday. It sounds like it could be a good time. If not & he turns out to be a loser, just ditch him in the crowd, kidnap your sister, drag her on the People Mover and set her straight.

Thanks Channing! I like your idea about kidnapping her to the people mover..... The latest: She came over to my house last night and we were chatting about their date on Friday night. He won't tell her where their going just that it is in Orlando and she has to dress nice and he said she needed to wear a skirt. She told him she would look nice and not to worry but don't tell her what to wear. She then told him she didn't own a skirt and wasn't going to start wearing them for him. To say she is head strong is putting it lightly

Tell her to go for it..... but tell her she has to buy it her self! Girls who own Hummers are so cool! My sisters first car was an old beater but still much nicer than my first car. My parents paid $100 for my first car and then made me pay it back ?!?! Let's just say it was a very dangerous car for me to drive... Not the case for the baby , they bought her 2 cars and paid a lot more then $100. But nobody's bitter

Anyways, my sister paid for it her self. She paid her first car off and then saved for a while and was able to sell her old car and put a nice big down payment down. She also got 0% financing! It's her BABY! She won't let me put on any of my Bare Escentuals in it! It's nice to see her driving her dream car b/c let me tell you she has said "one day I'll own a Hummer" since they came out! And her dream came true! She also has a company car so she only really drives it on the weekends! Thanks GOD, I harass her all the time that all the HUmmer owners are why we are fighting a war!

Mandy, oh ya...Jojo will be buying her OWN Hummer. She is planning on being an inventor and she is going to "make us all rich". I'm all for it. They'll probably be dirt cheap anyway by the time she can drive because gas will be at $10/gallon. Lucy hears adds for a modeling agency and has the 888 number memorized and thinks that's the better way for Jojo to make us all rich. Jo loves the camera and it loves her.

That is so funny about your sister not owning a skirt. He sounds old fashioned or young telling her to dress nice and wear a skirt. Kind of cute though. And she sounds like a modern independent person. I hope he turns out to be fun and nice.

I drove one dangerous car, too....I bet it cost about $100. It was fine but I wouldn't buy one of those for MY kids! What were my parents thinking?!?!?!? Oh well...they also let us ride in the back of a pickup without any top on it....flying down the highway. Times/laws were sure different back then!

I bet you travel agents are busy today!

I was wondering why I got the free dining email this morning.....I have the Visa but I didn't realize today was PUBLIC day!!!!! I'd hate to have to call CRO today.
