Hi everyone. The weather has been so beautiful here I've been outside walking the past few days. Monday I walked from 68th Street to 11th Street for pastries for DH (I know I do exercise to a bakery!
) from there walked to 14th Street cross to 5th Avenue to the Disney Store
Then walked home. Then walked from 68th Street to 87th Street to get DS4 from school and walk back down to 68th St. My legs were throbbing! I had to soak in a hot tub that night! Yesterday walked the mall in NJ, needed shoes for my trip
Today walked from 68th St to 93rd St to WW (lost 2lbs ! yeah!
) then walked from 93rd St to 56 St Disney Store (had an exchange) then walked home to 68th St. I'm actually tired now
DS4 has his second class trip today. They're going to the Swedish Marionette Theater in Central Park to watch "Pippi Longstocking" then having a picnic lunch in Central Park. It's a gorgeous day for it! I hope he has fun. It's his first trip on a school bus, he's so excited!
So at the Disney Store I picked up DS4 and DS1 Disney Crocs. I never thought I'd buy plastic shoes! These things are ugly! But DS4 really wanted a pair. They run really really big. He's a size 12 and the 12/13 were enormous on him. I had to exchange them for a 10/11. My little guy barely fits in the 4/5 size. He was dancing around in his crocs last night. I guess they are comfortable if a 14 month old can notice
I just got the Unofficial Guide to WDW for kids out of the library and I have to say this is the worst guide book I've ever read. I couldn't believe they tell you to purchase shoe lifts for your child if they don't meet the high requirements! Can you imagine!
I'm going to go get the original Unofficial Guide for WDW, hopefully it's better than this cliff notes version. I'm also geting the Disney Land version. I need to pick a resort already and book it.
Hey I was reading Praline's trip report and she said Narcoossee's will deliver to your room. She had surf and turf in her pjs on the balcony - now that's the kinda dinner I'd enjoy!!
We have a ADR for dinner there too, so I'm hoping it's good, I'm really looking forward to dining there.
I have to read and catch up with what's going on here.
Won't be around tomorrow, DS4 is off from school since the Pope is hosting a mass at the adjorning church - how cool! It's only for local priests, school children and parish members were not invited! The secret service has been at the school and church for a month now. The streets been closed off to traffic, it's been a little crazy. DS4 is just happy to have off tomorrow and Friday.
I'm taking the kids to the Bronx Zoo tomorrow it's going 70 degrees out and I want to be away from the city when the Pope drives around in his Popemobile!
I can only imagine the traffic!!
Have a great day everyone!
