I know...aren't we awful?! Not! I blame it all on the Dis boards...but love every minute of it! As a lot of us have said before, it's great to have a place to come and feed our harmless (?) addiction...
With me, the thing is that I don't get to stay as long as most of you do, so I am almost always, it seems, in the thinking and planning stages of the "next trip"!
Keep your fingers crossed for me regarding the transfer of our Dec. trip to the bounceback promo.

Evening Gals...I just came from a baseball game and froze my bu** off!!! 2 jackets, gloves, hat and 2 blankets...still cold! and it was supposed to be 60 today??

Channing~LOVE Pottery Barn...TONS of stuff in my house from there!! I am a PB freak! remember the Friends episode where their whole apt looked like the catalog?? Whats wrong with that?? jk anywho...what does your lamps look like??

OK I just read the turndown service...some people I think like to remember the pop=walmart thread???

I have a nice turndown story, i hope you dont think its cheezy! We have had turndown service alot at Disney and my boys know how much I love it after a long day at the parks....low lighting, pillows plumped, tomorrow's events on the tv, fresh towels! My boys have for the last year given me turndown service at home when I come home from class (10pm), and when I have had a rough day. they turndown my bed, plump my pillows, get my book and glasses ready, slippers at my bed, and turn on the tv to the "TV Channel". The best part is my one son saved his GF chocolates and cards with sayings on them and leave them on my pillow! (I dont eat the chocolate though) I love those guys!

Tinklvr - that turndown story is so sweet. What nice guys you have. You're right about the stirring the pot. I thought...how can a simple little question get so stretched into 4 pages? How crazy. OMG..how could we forgot the Pop=Walmart thread. That was some good material for controversy. Now have you guys checked out the GF thread lately? You know it seems the GF only has the "beautiful people" staying there.

I love PB, too! I just haven't ever been in a store 'til I went into it with Kristin...I always did the online/catalogue ordering. I could go nuts in that store. Cute stuff. My PB lamps are "Cooper" adjustable, ....they are rustic old fashioned kind of prairie style looking with the stands that zig zag depending on how you adjust them with old screws and they have large amber mica shades. I just need to figure out where to put them ....I am fried so I will do taht tomorrow. Can't even think and it will need some moving of furniture. This is the first chance I have had to SIT in a long time today...other than driving kids around town everywhere for hours so moving furniture is not in my near future. DH helped me get the lamps out....it was a hassle - they were TIGHTLY packed. They look awesome though. I love them and they give a cozy warm glow of light.

I still like Brook!!! I wasn't so crazy about Carly's job tonight. I lost interest in the end. What's happening to me??? Same thing with the Bachelor. Remember those torrid trashy reality tv shows like "For Love or Money"?? Or "Average Joe"... I miss that stuff....I remember laughing my butt off rolling on the floor with the Average Joe show....with Marissa...I think that was her name - the one that dated Fabio?! OMG I miss that awful type of show. I am looking forward to that Rock of Love reunion...looks like a doozy!!

Am I the only one that watched that show with that pretty girl that was a teacher, she moved into this mansion and had to introduce her family to her "fiance" (who was a fat obnoxious bum - but he wasn't really her fiance, just an actor) and her family was invited to this mansion and they all had to try and get along and get to know eachother?? If they made it to the alter w/out her family catching on she'd win tons of cash... Oh man....I never laughed so hard watching a TV show. (was it called something like my big fat obnoxious fiance or something? ) I am so bad with the trash tv.

Morning all! Last day til I leave reality and check in to fantasy for a little while! Yippee!! Sooooo ready. My life is enough of a mini-drama that it takes me at least two Disney trips a year to be happy!!!
I must be out of touch re: the term "tangled sweater". My guess from reading is that it is the preppie look with the sweater knotted around the neck??? Boy, that sounds like an attempt at suicide by sweater!!
I need to go read the turndown thread...must be something to generate so many comments!
BTW, we have ressies at 2 GF restaurants this weekend!! Our first meal at Narcoosee's...hope we're not disappointed.

The "turn down" thread is over on the resorts board. It might be closed now, haha, because people get so pissy about the littlest things on the boards. It is just a simple question about turndown....you'll see it.(If it's still there)

Oh! The "beautiful people" post is on about the next to last page of the GF thread. Kind of funny the way it's thrown in.....and that's where the "tangled sweater" comes from.


OMG....I am so bummed. OK.... so the beginning of March I weighed myself - you know right before our vacation. I didn't step on the scale until TODAY....I am UP 6.5 lbs. I cannot believe it. I have been GOOD (seriously counting points the past 2 days ) but pretty good up til then because I have been preparing myself to get on the scale (haha - pretty sad it takes preparation)....So, today is IT I am done messing around. I am going to drop 2 lbs by next Wed. I know how to do it I need to get on it. This gain means I am up 25lbs from my good weight loss before I turned 40. I am sick about it. I don't know what happened and it all snuck back on me. The worst thing is my parents come next weekend......believe me they are pissy & snarky & have no problem hurting anybody's feelings - and it's TRUE so I don't care if some nasty Chicago777 comes on and says "Do your parents read this?" yada yada..... I know my mom will comment on it and that will send me over the edge. My parents are healthy freaks. Golfing daily, walking 3 hrs daily, working out with weights...... they are retired and have nothing better to do! They make me so self conscious.

Channing- Chalk the weight up to the crappy weather we have had all winter and start fresh. The warm sunshine always brings a better attitude towards this...or at least I think.

I watched the Biggest Loser last night and I was so glad Ali won. She looks great.

Also- I bought the Biggest Loser Cardio and the Powerculpt. Very good quick 10 minute work out.

(I am eating a cinn roll as I am reading and writing ) I am up about 30 lbs from where I should be and then some....I am sick of everyday waking up and worrying about my weight...but it does consume my thoughts and its all on me!

oh I hate that feeling. I am there with ya. when i was so good on WW i was worry free. weight was a nonissue. i had total control of myself and the weight was coming off fairly easily. I want that back! I just walked w/my neighbor. I am so stiff and achy though it's weird. My shoe came untied and i cuold hardly bend to tie it. That's how I felt in WDW, too - so stiff and it hurt to bend my joints. I wonder what is up with that? It feels nasty. I am committing myself to losing this weight. I felt so much better inside and out without it. It just snuck up on me!!!This is not ME. I am trying to drink tons of water today too...i am worried my lack of that is making me stiff? I need to Google that.

Ya, this weather was just AWFUL. That didn't help, but I have a really nice treadmill......

Now I am seriously thinking about WDW over July 4 so that is my new motivation to drop the 25lbs. I need to make a bargain with DH. He might go for that deal.

Thanks for the cheer ups. I am trying not to let it bring me too down today but that it was such a nasty surprise! I thought I'd be the same as before my trip or a bit down.

I feel lucky! Heck, I AM lucky; I'm leaving for my happy place in less than 24 hours!!! Just wish I had more time there, but my sis couldn't get but one and half days off.
Watching the Travel channel right now, about the building of the Queen Mary 2, which reminds me of a Disney ship, which reminds me of a cruise, which....uh oh, better stop now!!!! hahahahaha Gotta go back to my chores. Well, AFTER I find that turndown thread...

I weighed myself before and after my trip and ended losing about 5lbs! I will probably gain a little this week trying to get rid of all the good stuff I brought back, but I will start working harder next week and try to really stick to my WW.

I am finally staring to work on my trip report....

It is so nice to have the weather turning nicer here..... I can actually get the kids outside to enjoy the weather Not quite as nice as it was in FL but at this point I will gladly take 60's and 70's
