Tinklvr...glad the first day on the job went well!:thumbsup2 Bummer about your stomach!! Hope you feel better quick.

This is so nasty....I just went running errands (PO and Target) and then picked up DD11 from school. Well, when I left my house gas at our nearest station (Shell - where I always fill up) was $3.55.....on the way back home after about an hour and a half it was $3.69!!!!!!!  Un flippin real. :scared:

Also.. Got my Nicor bill today... $987.81. Well, that is really two months but I think that really sucks. We weren't even around for the whole time and the weather wasn't THAT cold. :confused3 April is an estimate...so we'll see what DH finds when he gets home and takes the reading... They are just so annoying.

It is so flipping nice out!!! I spent way to much money at Deer Park today!! They have so many stores there that we don't have. I went to J. Crew and got the cutest shorts for the PPP!! DH will probably hate them :rotfl2:

IMG_1529.jpg

Then I went to the Loft to return that skirt that was too big and they started pulling stuff out from the collection being released on the 27th- so I bought a whole bunch of that too :rotfl: (Channing, they still didn't have those white shorts yet! WTH?! May have to break down and order them on line...)

My tummy is a little better today. I had a salad for lunch while we were out and so far so good :thumbsup2 We are celebrating DH's bday with his family this weekend so we have ressies at Maggiano's on Saturday night and brunch ressies on Sunday at a local place- I really want to be able to eat!!!!!

ETA: Channing- your Nicor bill!!! :faint: Ours was $300 last month and $213 for the one I just got. Our Com Ed bill never dipped under $100 this winter so I can only imagine what it will be this summer once the A/C kicks in...

Take Care!
Kristin

:scared1: WHAT!! That is cr** about Nicor!! We got on the payment plan about 2 years ago and we have a set rate throughout the year. Sometimes they adjust it if we are using more gas than was planned for. I think we pay about $130 year round.
Gas is really getting out of control...this whole economy is out of control. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer and pretty soon no middle class:headache:

Kristin! OMG what adorable shorts!!! How perfect! You know, I have driven by D P a lot but I don't even know where it is!:rotfl: :rotfl: I haven't ever stopped there and I should!!! Duh. I am such an online shopper.....that is crummy about the white shorts...sometimes stores just don't get the same merchandise as online....not srue why..

Ya nicor sucks....I can't do the budget plan becasue they'd really rip me because we heat a 30,000 gallon pool all summer. Can't win.

See ya later - off to walk!~

I love the shirts too!! :goodvibes I can't tell if the jolly rogers are navy or black, but since my black scoopneck T is already spoken for, but my navy one isn't!! So navy it is!

We are going to the Woodfield location... we don't go downtown anymore. We actually got engaged at the downtown location.

I LOVE THE SHORTS! pirate: Those are wench shorts!

When I checked my email this morning I had a 25% coupon to AT, LOFT, or the AT outlet! It is good thru Sunday....... also it has free shipping, with a $100 purchase (easy to do!) I am shopping tonight in my pj's while I watch the office! Oh yea, it has a share with a friend offer so if any one is interested pm me with your email and I will forward it! I love the LOFT!

I would love 25% off!!! But seeing as how much coin I just dropped today(even after 20%), I will be a good little wench and decline....

Ok, so all you ladies that watch trash TV this is for you. I to have a stupid guilty pleasure, The Hills. Anyone else watch it? It's dumb, fake, and so high schoolish but I can't help myself. I think it's my attempt at trying to holding on to my youth..... I can't stand these late 20's and the thought of 30 has made me start watching the Hills.:rotfl: I told my husband it was my once a week 30 minuet soap opera since I don't watch the daytime ones anymore. :rolleyes1

Yea, 5% is not worth a trip back to the store...... I always buy more when I have coupons.... I'm like Channing and shop almost exclusively online now and it seems like the bills adds up real quick when all you have to do is click! :confused3 I'm a sucker for "free" shipping so I tend to buy more to get the "deal" :rotfl:

I've never seen it (Except the clips on The Soup that Joel McHale plays of it) DH watches it from time to time.

Haha, we watch the Hills too, BF more than me :confused3 . Those kids are so dumb but its like a train wreck and you can't stop watching.

Weather is beautiful here today, too bad I have to go back to work for a dumb meeting or me and the doggy would go take a walk around the farm or I would ride one of the horses. Well, maybe we will take a walk anyway if the meeting goes quickly :rolleyes1 . I already have 9 hours of overtime this week (that I get comp time for, not paid, whoopee :sad2: ) and my homework is piling up because of it, so I should be doing that instead, but I am sick of being inside all of the time :headache:

Those gas bills are frightning! We got a SunHeat radient heater for our house (just one, we will purchase another 2 or 3 next year) to try it out. It cut our propane bill in half, literally, and only raised our electric bill $1 a day. It was $400 but it has already MORE than paid for itself.

Really cute shorts, Kristen!

Have a great evening ladies!

I love the hills! You just can't stop watching it!! Did Heidi have some surgery on her nose, it just looks different to me.

I watch the Hills that Heidi is ANNOYING.

Some news I leave Tuesday for a week at WDW!!

I know Heidi bugs the crap out of me, the whole show is dumb but addicting :rotfl: I was watching a episode where Audrina talked to Lauren at "work" and she was wearing a spaghetti strap top and you could see her black bra straps. The scene that shows her getting home later that "same day" and talking to Lauren her bra straps are white. Oops! :rolleyes1

Yay, a week at Disney! :cheer2: I bet your crazy getting things ready! We are going to Epcot Saturday, the kids can't wait to do Nemo and Soaring again! I am going to AK on the 22nd for the 10th ceremony! I really want to see Joe Rohde! And I'm going to the Dis Podcast taping on the 4th!

Has anyone ever done the Mothers day brunch at Epcot? I really wish they did a mothers day brunch on Saturday, I can't do the one on Sunday because every one brings mom to church on Sunday and as the praise team leader I have to sing the busy Sundays :sad2: Doesn't Disney know some Moms celebrate all weekend? :rotfl:

You are soo lucky to be soo close to WDW...good thing I'm not I would be there all the time :goodvibes
I have to watch "golden girls" to make me feel better! :lmao: I feel so old lately!
My daughter(25) watches all those shows, The OC, The Hills, Gossip Girl, etc...I used to watch Desperate Housewives but then it really got stupid. And Eva Longoria was getting on my last nerve

Hey Praline welcome back!!!!:flower3:

Kristin the shorts are adorable!! I've been looking for white shorts and never thought to try the Loft I am going to check after I finish catching up on the Threads.:surfweb:

I am so in withdrawl for WDW and the GF that I took the kids into NYC today to check the World of Disney. I wanted to bet the Pope into the city, the kids have off today and tomorrow due to his visit, so we picked up my DH at work first, the weather was beautiful, but the store was boring. We walked around eat some hot pretzels, shopped alittle and went out to dinner. This trip didn't help my withdrawl at all!!!!!!!!!!! Soon my ticker will read 2 months 30 days. At least it will say 2 months!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Where is our tickers??? :confused3 I think I am changing back to my other one.

Kelly I love the time right before a trip! its almost as good as being there!

We love living in Central FL! We are an hour away from the west coast beaches and 45 min. to Tampa (love their aquarium) and 45 min to Orlando. Our county is BORING but I like raising my kids in the small town that DH and I both grew up in! The nickname for the area that I live is Tamplando or Orlampa..... :rotfl: Both city's keep grow closer and closer together and we are smack in the middle!

We are a weird family, I guess. I am a RN and could make a lot of money if I wanted to but we decide to cut our expenses when #1 was born so I could stay home and now we home school. We have decided to live debt free so we don't eat out and we don't go to movies (except Disney movies). Disney passes are our Christmas and that's it! The grandparents and my sister indulge the kids way to much anyways! ;) DH now makes a little more thanks to his Engineering degree but we haven't changed much about our life style since we are saving for our dream home which we need desperately (we live in a 3bed 1 bath, that is only 1100 sq. ft, theres 6 of us :scared1: ) Disney is our "eating out, happy meal, and movie night" substitute! It's worth it :thumbsup2 We just did a road trip and ate at 2 restaurants and 3 fast food places and you would think my kids had died an gone to heaven! We are not "poor" by any mean we just choose to put our money away for a rainy day. Remember my husband had to do a Gymboree intervention!!!! :rolleyes1 I would rather have Disney passes and dress my kids in Gymboree than eat out every day!
