If my husband looked like that...I would never let him leave the house :rotfl: !
My husband already knows he is my favorite so if I bring him home the cologne...he probably will not wear it!

NO LIE!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: Everytime I open the paper and see his picture it takes my breath away  ....and I really don't get into the whole movie star thingy, but WOW!

I am definatley not excited about the Christmas crowds. I think we will take it easy and just see the lights etc. I am hoping it is warm enough to do a little swimming.

I will probably make most of my ADR's at restaurants with the characters that way the girls get the interaction and they will not make me stop and wait in line wherever we go!

One last thing....does anyone know if you can get gift certificates for things like BBB?? I am going to get the girls the makeovers with the costumes at BBB and also let them make the dolls in Germany ( I think that is where you make them) and wanted to have something under the tree saying they get to do these things. Any thoughts on how to go about doing this?

I have never gotten into that either but for some reason he just grabs my attention. I think it is that smile and the way he talks. I watched Failure to Launch over and over just to see that cute little face. My husband would walk in and roll his eyes.

Hi gals!!!

Crazy weekend and I have the crazy tummy today to go with it  I really need a nap!!

The engagement party of Friday was fun, but LONG!!! It was a dinner party with a 7:30 PM start. We didn't eat until after 9:30, didn't finish until after 11pm and then they still had gifts to open :faint: We left the house just after 1am, thinking we would scoot down the tollway and be home in under an hour- WRONG!!! They had it down to 1 lane since they were doing repairs on the El tracks (Elevated train from those not in Chicago). We got home close to 2:30am, and my IL's (who are saints!!!) were still awake and not at all cranky about being there so long :worship:

DS had soccer pics early on Saturday and I was wiped from being out so late (and having A LOT of wine) so I needed a nap later in the day. DH let me sleep for almost 3 hours! Maybe I was already getting sick, since I NEVER nap that long.

Yesterday was nice and quiet. We watched the White Sox game here at home, went to dinner and got DS in bed just in time for Rock of Love...

I am SO glad he picked Ambre... can't wait to watch the reunion and see Heather and Daisy get into the fight!!

I cannot believe I missed the Sam Brown WDW special on Friday  Now I have to wait until next week to see it. I am such a moron for forgetting to double check the time on the VCR clock when I programmed it

ETA: I haven't booked my December airfare yet either... hoping for a sale in the coming months...

Have a great day!
Kristin

Hello ladies I am back from my MIL's house! They live out in Redneckville USA!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Seriously, one of the roads out there is Cow Pen Rd. It' a very rural area with a lot of white trash, in fact they have clan meetings and cross burnings out there all the time...... Horrible how some people are still so hateful :sad2:
Warning: Rant!!
BTW, the kids ate nothing but junk, candy, had red hi-c and Coke to drink (a huge no no for my kids). I am furious b/c they have been horrible and were already hyped up on sugar at 8am when I picked them up! She tried to send me home with bags of suckers and chips and I let her know that it was obvious the minuet I walked into the house that they had more than enough at her house and I don't bring junk into our house to feed them, so she could keep it. She knows I'm not happy with her, but I'm tired of her refusing to respect our request when she keeps the kids. It would be one thing if it didn't affect there health but two of or children are allergic to Red dye and it affects there behavior. DS has a very sensitive stomach and has already had two screaming fits because he has gas and an upset stomach! I think I'm gonna call her when he is on the toilet screaming with horrible gas pains, may be that will finally get my point across. Thanks MIL, your the best! :headache:

Just wanted to say that we are having a cold front here..... didn't stop me from having a Pineapple Dole whip float last night! Obviously I'm not that super health consciouses :rotfl:

I am not going to worry about the cost. Last night we had friends over and my husband was talking about going to WDW for Christmas and how he will miss Christmas morning with the presents under the tree. He then said that the girls are not going to understand Santa not brining as many presents etc. So I decided that gave me the go ahead to go all out and make this as magical as possible! (I will never tell him the tree cost $400 plus dollars!)

I LOVE Christmas :santa: and would so get that tree if I were at Disney for Christmas. We normally put four trees up at our house! We put up a pink tree in the girls room with, purple and white lights, hand beaded snow flakes, pink beads, Disney princess ornaments (of course;) ) and some big iridescent pink and white bows and ribbon! Can you tell this is my favorite tree?:rotfl: We normally leave this tree up until Feb but replace the ornaments with hearts and this cute conversation heart garland and take off the purple light and put up red lights. We then do a easter egg tree and then take it down.... :sad1:

DS has a tree in his room with a hot wheels theme and blue light, the main tree is traditional with no theme, lots of antique German ornaments and I make new bows every year. The tree in our room is special. It has the bows on it that were part of the pew decorations for our wedding, our anniversary is Dec 4th, and I have a bunch of Radko ornaments that were given to us as wedding gifts.

Sorry for the long rant about the MIL and our trees. I tend to be able to go on and on about things when I'm angry or passionate about it! :rotfl:

I didn't get to see it either....when is it on again????
Crossing fingers for airfare sale too!

April 23... I guess they are running a whole bunch of Disney stuff that day...

As for airfare, United keeps trending downward (haven't checked yet today) and is almost $75 cheaper than AA... it is still higher than I want so I am not booking anything yet.

Mandy, OMG...that is terrible about your MIL. Mine lives in Clearwater FL....about 1100 miles away. It's teh perfect set up.:thumbsup2 My parents live even farther. The only bad is that there is really nobody to watch my kids....except DS17 and he is out mostly!!!

Also, I wanted to comment on that loser.:headache: I am SO GLAD he didn't show for your WDW day. What a creep - a CHEAP CREEP. I can't believe we were being nice and trying to be positive about him before the "date". :rolleyes1 Men can be such nitwits. Your sister sounds like she has a lot going for her. Mr. Right will be there when the time is right. :wizard:

So....on to the important stuff.;) kidding.....how was your Sunday at WDW?? I don't think Dole whips can be THAT bad for ya. It's fruity.:goodvibes You are awesome for dropping 4lbs. I am trying to be back on track so I can step on the scale THIS Wednesday.

OMG...that stupid bird is still throwing himself into our windows. It goes on all day every day...never stops. What a freak.

Kristin - sorry your sick!:flower3: BUMMER.:guilty: I have Jojo home. She said ehr stomach hurt, but she ate choc chip pancakes....she has a stuffy head so I think she's definitnely getting something. I keep staring at my family room thinking about those Pottery Barn lamps. Me want. I am going to look online and see if they have them.....I was planning on going back out there today, but with Jo home.....:sad2: I don't want to miss out on the 30% off!!!!!

OH! It's a Disney Day here!!!! I received a COOL OH package from teh Disney Mom's Club....it includes a Disney mousepad, some Tink pins, a car magnet, and a few more odds and ends plus the WDW planning DVD!! AND I forgot I ordered on Amazon a Disney Treasures book....it is SO NEAT - full of cute little reproduction items in little pockets thru the book. Jo and I were having fun looking at all of them. YA!! Maybe this is a good omen?? Disney is in my near future??!?!?

Have a great day,
Channing :)

OK, About our day at Disney We decided to do the MK since it has been FOREVER since we have been on any of the "mountains" and I also wanted to do Hall of Presidents and Haunted Mansion. DH also wanted to do some photo stuff. We got to the park about 5:30 and hung out on Main street looking at the windows and and checked out a few shops we have never been in. We also did some fun pictures in front of the castle. Oh yea, my sister was with us! The 3 of us have so much fun together, we are like a bunch of HS kids!:dance3:

We decided to head to Thunder mt. and Splash mt. and get a FP for one and ride the one with the shorter line. Splash mt. was closed for tech. difficulty so we got a FP for BTM.

DH took some cool pictures in sepia tone of the building fronts and a very photogenic bird that could have been on Top model:rotfl: We also took a hilarious picture of me looking up under the Liberty Bell and my sister yells out "hey stop looking at Bell's crack!" :rotfl2: I died laughing and we got a few strange looks. Then a CM that was walking by said "you know that's not the real Liberty bell, don't you" And I said "yea, I've the seen the real one and it's crack is a lot wider, longer, and cleaner" He just laughed and said "i'm not gonna touch that one!" :rotfl2:

Anyways, we went on Haunted Mansion and I love the new rehab! The bride room is so good and so much to look at! We of course took some MORE pics, and then took off to the Hall of Presidents. We had just missed the show and had to wait 30 minuets so we decide to go get some Figaro fries! YUM! I love Figaro fries:upsidedow We had our fries and then headed back to the HOP. I really enjoyed it but looking all those white men that have been our president made me realize that a black man or a woman could be the next addition to the HOP! Or it could be another old white guy if the democrats don't get it together (speaking as a Floridian whose votes don't count, ok shoving my soap box under the bed):)

We then took off back to BTM and had a blast riding it! DH got some great shots of me and my sis, of course I was so goofing for the pics. We never did SM, but it was cooling down and I was fine with not getting wet.

We did POTC so I could say hello to my pirate Boyfriend, Jack! pirate: He slipped up and called me Kristin, that dog! I heard she was some obsessed wench :rolleyes1

:rotfl: :rotfl: JK! :rotfl: :rotfl:

After POTC we stopped by Casey's so DH And Sis could get a hot dog and I got the corn nuggets. We crossed Main street just time b/c they shut the lights off for Spectro Magic before we finished crossing the road. We ate at the noodle station and then went to Space mountain.

There was this annoying family of 4 that was in front of us calling another group and yelling at them to hurry up. They said "just push up here and tell people your looking for your family and when you get in the building just jump in the fast pass line and meet up with us and jump back in the regular line." I hate that and I decided if they show up and try to skip us I was going to say something! It was obvious by the phone calls that they had been on another ride while these people waited in line. We were almost into the room where you load when the people in front of us saw the people coming behind us. I turned around and it was five more people, but they were just pushing by people in the standby line not in the FP line, all older teens and adults! I was so mad. My sister and DH stood side by side and blocked them and when they tried to pass them my sister asked them where they were going and they said that their family was in front of us. She said "well i guess you should have gotten in line at the some time and turned around." The two groups were only separated by 5 people. The people sent a teen girl back to kinda tell them come on and try to get them passed us. My sister said sorry, and told her it didn't matter that you can only ride in groups of 6 and they would be separated anyways. :rotfl: They got mad at us and then tried to pass by my sister. She stuck her arms out and held onto the rails on both sides. They said "c'mon its only five people." She said ok so if its that important you can join your family BEHIND us, your not skipping anyone else. They finally caved and went behind us and then when we got up to get on the ride the people in front of us told a CM what happened and they made all nine people leave the ride! :yay: They skipped probably 200 people.

After Space mt. we headed over to Dumbo to watch wishes from behind the castle! It was cool b/c the fire works were behind us and in front is us. We got our ice cream and Dole whips and headed home!

The crowds were not bad at all for a Sunday with EMH! WE left the MK at 10:40 and it was hard going to our car and going home and not the GF!

Channing, I could only be so lucky to live far away from my MIL! Seriously we are blessed that both sets of parents are close but the truth is they don't agree on how many kids we have, like I honestly planned it? My parents refuse to take more than 2 kids, remember mommy witch.:maleficen And my MIL is crazy. We have NEVER asked either set to take the kids. We have friends that love us and our kids and are eager to help and my sister is great about keeping the kids so we can have a date now and then. My MIL gets an itch to have them for a over night visit about every 3 months and then realizes about bed time that it's hard and she get cranky because she can't chain smoke so she will call us and down right lie about being sick. We know she lies because we have seen them in town and even caught her tugging on a big bag of water softening salt at Sam's after calling us and telling us her back was out! Ooops, her bad brain:headache:

By the way we are about an hour from Clearwater, we love the west coast beaches in FL! Especially Lido in Sarasota! St. Armonds Circle is awesome :thumbsup2

You crack me up about that bird! I reminds me of the windex commercial!:rotfl:

I love pottery barn, Esp. PBK!:thumbsup2

Have a Grand day girls! I am leaving in the am for our trip to Tallahassee, not looking froward to a 8 hour drive with the kids alone:scared1: I haven't packed yet so I need to get a move on!

Mandy

If the shoes fits, then I say "Wear it Cinderumbrella!!!" :rotfl:

OK, details.... what is this??

About a year ago Disney held a search for moms to be panelist for a new forum they were creating. You had to write about your experiences as a Disney "mom". Everyone who submitted and application but were not chosen have continued to receive emails and received a package in the mail with a mouse pad, magnet, tinker bell pins, and a 2008 planning video as well as some literature and a coupon for photo pass. They have called the club the Mickey Moms club. It's cute stuff and fun to get something after not being chosen to be a panelist! :rotfl:

Check out www.disneyworldmoms.com this is what we all applied for!

Inside there is a Mickey Moms Club mousepad, matching car magnet, two Tink trading pins, a WDW planning DVD (same that they send to everybody that orders) and a sticker sheet.....some brochure, too...need to look at it, but it's all the basic info it seems.
