Maxie: Unfortunatly, it is the one BM I can't "uninvite" :sad2:

Mare: I agree, clutter gets me down too and makes me feel bleh. No wonder I feel bleh all the time :rotfl: . I want a wii fit too! DF wants to go to a gym instead :confused3

Kelly: :lmao: . I love your line in your signature makes me smile everytime I read it :goodvibes

Have a great day everyone!

Well I am just keeping it real. There is no charge for my awesomeness!!!!:thumbsup2

Every time I go to my linen closet I feel good now and think of Mandy who gave me tips on how to organize it.:goodvibes It's awesome now.:)

Care to share your tips???

No thanks. I can't even comment on that place. I'm trying to block it out of my mind. That's one Disney stay, I'm trying to forget! :rotfl2:

I just made my first mypoints purchase! :cool1: I had a B&N gift card and got some books at 50% off and two magazine subscriptions - didn't even know they sold subscriptions!

The first book I see at the top of the page in "home and garden" - Declutter your home workbook! :rotfl2: Made me realize I should be off the computer and back to decluttering :rotfl:

well...the BEST tip was on the sheet sets. My linen closet was exploding.....so she told me to fold the sheets and put them inside the pillowcase. IT is perfect! Such a simple idea...so maybe I am the only doof that didn't know to do it...but it is awesome.:thumbsup2

*Thanks, Mandy!*

Chan:)

Good Morning

I had already been outside today. It is snowing here and we have a couple inches of thick snow. I went out and shoveled my porches and driveway. Then salted everything as its being to sleet and its all gonna freeze over.

Shawn had school and wasnt happy and my house is nice and quiet as the other one is still sleeping. I expect him up soon though.

Good Heavens woman , when do you sleep?! :rotfl:

Seriously, I am :worship: you! You are like the energizer bunny!

I would start charging for your awesomeness! :lmao:

That is a great idea!!! :thumbsup2 My closet is exploding too! I'm proud to say I finally purchased at wrapping paper container for all the bags of paper, ribbon, labels and junk that was on the floor of my linen closet! :rotfl:

I'm working room by room. I'm trying to organize the living room first. I just ordered a DVD holder from QVC it holds 120 DVDs. I have DVD cases all over the place!! :rotfl2:

Afternoon Gals :goodvibes

It's quiet here today :rolleyes1. I went to the grocery store and thought I'd come back to alot of chatting :confused3.

Wendy.....I don't think Kelly ever sleeps :sad2:. She's got too much energy for me..........I sometimes get tired just reading about how early she gets up and out :rotfl: :rotfl:. And the best part is...............she DOESN'T EVEN DRINK COFFEE :scared1:.

Chan.....Mandy's sheet idea makes perfect sense :thumbsup2. I never would have thought of doing that .

I never thought of Mandy's sheet idea before either. It's too bad its not something she could sell! It would be like one of those gadgets you see and think that makes such perfect sense...why didn't I think of it! She could be rich!

I don't know how Kelly keeps going and going and going (like the energizer bunny, LOL). I too get tired just reading about it. It's all can can do to stay awake somedays! (okay, most days when I am "working")

Good Afternoon All:)

I keep my linen closet neater with Mandy's idea too...putting the sheets into one of the pillow cases is wonderful!!

Mare I have gotten a few magazines recently about getting rid of clutter too...I usually keep the magazines to refer back to...more clutter!!!:rotfl:

Maxie I'm giving the exercise bike serious consideration...do you recommend any brand in particular??

Its raining here...but better than the snow flurries that we had yesterday...to all of you MA girls hope the weather gets better and please dont send the snow it our way...thank you:)

With the Concourse Steakhouse now closed...what would be a good option for a nice steak dinner...revising that dining list!!! again...

Hope everyone is having a good day..ttyl:flower3:

Mare I have one of those wrapping paper storage bins too...it has an extra area for bow..etc...its overflowing...can barely get the lid on!! so much for no clutter...

Kelly gets more things done in a morning than I get done in a day sometimes...she is the energizer bunny....

Keep setting that good example for us Kelly....:goodvibes

BlueSkies: We actually really like the filet at Kona, if you're looking for something comperable in price to what Concourse was. DF thought it was great both trips, and my dad really liked it as well, and both of them are big steak eaters. It's not the very best ever, of course, but it was really tasty and resonably priced (and better than LeCellier, we thought).

I agree with Amy about Kona but in December we gave The Wave a try and it was wonderful! We really enjoyed it and had a great server...I noticed that they were all men??? :confused3 Except for the bar staff...I did see her waiting on a table, too? I got the beef there and it was very good so you might think about there, too.

::yes:: I agree, Amy I should be making money off my idea! LOL!

I will PM all you happy customers a bill ! :rotfl:

I wish i could fold laundry as well as I can organize a closet...... it is a hobby of mine, pathetic i know. I love to empty a closet or pantry and reorganize it! I also like to vacuum (edging is my fave) and dust (swiffer)...... something about seeing all the dust and dirty fill the canister gets me giddy :woohoo:

Of you could see all the laundry that needs to be folded :sad2: I told Dh i don't want a maid or a cook or even a door man (;) Mare) I just want someone to fold my laundry. I will even wash it and put it up!

Mare I have gotten a few magazines recently about getting rid of clutter too...I usually keep the magazines to refer back to...more clutter!!!:rotfl:...

I know!! :rotfl: Now I read and toss. I just stopped my subscriptions to all the parenting magazines. They just repeat stuff over and over! I'm looking forward to reading about fashion, make up and nonsense again :rotfl2:

With the Concourse Steakhouse now closed...what would be a good option for a nice steak dinner...revising that dining list!!! again...

A good friend of mine went to The Wave in Aug and LOVED it! She said it was a last minute decision and went for lunch. She said the entire meal was delicious. Just a thought....

I've heard the Coral Reef, Kona Cafe, Captain's Grille and GF Cafe have good steaks. I thought the Coral Reef was odd that people rave about the pork chop and steak at a seafood restaurant! Captain's Grille (at the YC) has several steaks on the menu - wonder if they come from the Yachtsman's Steakhouse butcher room??? Now that would be a good deal.

Mare I have one of those wrapping paper storage bins too...it has an extra area for bow..etc...its overflowing...can barely get the lid on!! so much for no clutter...

So does mine, but I don't have much ribbons, more paper. We have to purchase wrapping paper every Sept as part of DS4's school fundraising. It's nice paper, but it comes in sheets (which is great for wrapping shirt boxes come Xmas) but my supply was getting out of hand. I needed something to store it in. It fits nice in the closet and I feel so organized when I see it

I bet you're cheaper than California Closets! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm having them come and custom our bedroom closets. They are a MESS!

Have you ever considered becoming a home organizer? My friend hired one over the summer to organize her entire apartment. Not sure what they charge, but my friend says it was worth every penny.

BlueSkies.......I agree with Amy.....Kona has great filet :thumbsup2. The prime rib is awesome too :goodvibes. We loved Concourse and were so disappointed when it closed :sad2:. We haven't been to LeCellier and not sure we're going to try it in June :confused3. My brother LOVES Boma so that's one for sure (although I heard they took away the prime rib.....so that didn't go over too well with him :rolleyes1) and we're going to try Yachtsman Steakhouse :). With all these changes Disney is making to their menus it makes it kind of hard to pick . But I think I've narrowed it down and will be ready when March 21st rolls around for me to make my ADRs ;).

Siobhan.....I never really thought of trying the Wave because I wasn't sure how it would be . Do you remember what kind of entrees were on the menu??? DH, DS, and my DBrother are filet and prime rib lovers :).

Deb

Afternoon!

We love Kona. :goodvibes We had a yucky experience there even before Jojo was born and we dind't bother to return until last summer. It was sooo good though last summer....we only booked it because we had a really icky time at Ohana in March...so we were a restaurant short. We don't forgive for icky easily.:rotfl: Jojo's going to be nine this month.....so it will be a long time until we return to Ohana.:rotfl2:

I have such a headache today. The kind you wake up with.....live with...go to bed with....ugh:headache: It's been a weird day.:sad2:

We haven't been to LeCellier and not sure we're going to try it in June :confused3. :

I had the "signature" Mushroom Filet and thought it was delicious. DH had the prime rib and said it was just a steak. He wish I would have told him to order the restaurant's signature dish. Note to self: Tell DH what to order at each restaurant! :rotfl: The food is good at Le Cellier, the HYPE I just don't get. It's steak. I think it's so popular because it's good steaks at 1 TS credits.

My brother LOVES Boma so that's one for sure (although I heard they took away the prime rib.....so that didn't go over too well with him :rolleyes1) :

We were going to try Boma (never been to AKL) but passed on it. I read too many reviews about the food having "different" spices - like cinnamon flavored ribs  My guys would hate that!

I've only heard fantastic things about the Wave.

Also keep in mind that some of the better 1 TS restaurants change the menu according to the seasons, so right now we're looking at winter menus. They will be slightly different come June.

I think we'll try LeCellier eventually but the reason we're not doing it in June is mainly because my parents are going with us and they may not do the parks......so I don't want them to have to pay to go to Epcot just for dinner :rolleyes1. They are booked for 7 day hoppers but I told them they have to make up their minds by the first of May when final payment is due so they can change it if they want to . And ADRs will long be made by that time . But I've found that people either RAVE over LC or they don't like it at all :confused3.

I was afraid to try it too for that very reason but we decided to bite the bullet and we were pleasantly surprised :goodvibes. There are some "different" foods there but there are also very normal foods that are GREAT :thumbsup2. The kids section had regular mac & cheese, chicken tenders, french fries, etc......but I was right where you are.....too nervous about the "strange" spices :scared:.

We may have to give it a try......if not in June, maybe December :).

Deb :flower3:

Deb: Yeah, there's a LeCellier following just like there are 'Ohana groupies! :rotfl2: I'm glad we tried it, we're not rushing back.

Did you care for any of the specialty items at Boma? I'd love to just try it and see the AKL, but it's so darn far away! Once I heard a guy comment that "AK is so far away from everything, it's practically in Georgia!":rotfl: I have to agree!!

Here's Kevin's review of The Wave (he's the DISpodcast food critic)
