I have not personally found the site unusable with ads. Annoying? Yes. But not unusable. I mean, I’ve posted plenty on here on both on my phone and my MacBook and I’ve never used an ad blocker. Sure, the ads on mobile are annoying and there are occasionally times when it has gotten glitchy on my laptop, but it was never so much that I just said the heck with it.

I use an iPad and it had gotten really bad. I was unable to type responses and the constant reloading was ridiculous. In fact this site is the only reason I got an ad blocker.

Like I said, I understand the need for ads but I’m not going to use a site that causes me so much frustration to use. And I won’t be paying for the privilege of not seeing them, sorry.

Yep, I'm having the same problems. It's fine on my Win 11 desktop, difficult on my iPad, nearly unusable on my iPhone.

Same here. I'm still not sure, especially since I found out DH pays $15 a month for premium access to his college sports site. But my ad blocker only costs $40 a year, and there's another of my usual sites that needs it too.

It's pretty good for me on a laptop. Not so much on phone.

$50/year is not a lot of money, but that erases $1000 of 5% DGC discounts

If you're not coming out ahead, you aren't doing your Disney math right!

For example, thanks to this board, I found out about the option to waive title insurance when buying direct.

That savings alone (on two direct contracts) can fuel several years+ of ad-free usage for me.

I probably wouldn’t have bought because I didn’t know resale existed without these boards.

I can say 100% adding on I was likely influenced by all you non influencer influencers.

I bought my initial 300 (2x150) at VGF before joining or even knowing about this board.

All my purchases beyond that were heavily influenced by the enablers on here (you know who you are).

I can’t say I would not have added on without it, but not as much or nearly as frequently. Now I’m kind of timeshare rich and cash poor.
