Good Morning! I am up and it is crack down time! I cant stop looking at the forecast!!!!

I cant wait to have that Peach Slushie!

Siobhan...I keep looking too......You guys and us have nasty weather Tuesday but clear Wed night.....and then on next Monday both Chicago and Boston have icey rain mix...and "watch for flight delays".....

The FL weather looks fantastic. I just have to decide what to wear......and I am thinking one week from today we will be heading home......

Maxie......Have a nice lunch with DH this afternoon . It will do you both good to get out for something other than going to the doctor's office .


Chan.....What do you mean it's almost over....it hasn't even started yet . But I know what you mean......I get all excited with all the anticipation and then once it's here, I start to think that I will be heading back home before I know it . Just keep thinking of all the FUN you gals are going to have . The thought of heading home is too depressing .


I'm off to run an errand or two before lunch....so I will catch you gals later .

As for GF Gal plans....we are doing the parks and a Grand 1 cruise...maybe a cabana....some nice dinners....the Cali Grille - and it will be my first time there....I have never been tempted by it...but Kelly said it's awesome so it's a go....and we plan to shop and stay up late and laugh. The weather keeps changing.....HERE we are expecting some nasty snow tomorrow.....Wednesday better (*PLEASE*)remain clear.

Happy Groundhog's Day!!! Fun Fact !! I grew up in the little town where they filmed the movie!! I really did.

That sounds like fun! The Cali Grille has good deserts and beautiful views.....we only did desert there on our anniversary a few years ago. You gals will have to take pictures for the rest of us stuck in winter

Deb- I know what you mean about planning.. Months of fun planning all for just a few days of awesome! I have been working on the plans for Sept Now I am just waiting for all of the hours to figure out what park and restaurant on what days

Well I think I am packed! For the most part anyway! I haven't done my carry on but that can wait! I will have to re arrange because right now there is no room for my toiletries! I cant decide what to take for my "park bag"! I really want to be care free but I dont think that is possible...

I am just dying to go! I always get that feeling, too...Sad to come home before you even leave! But this time I can wait to follow, not lead! KWIM, bus driver.... beep, beep!

DH keeps asking if I really want to go still....Dumbo!

I have to move on to the whirl wind cleaning...after all my MIL will be here all day Thursday!

We have some great wing places around here and everyone wanted to order them but I said " NO I want to make them! "
I thought it was weird that the Franks recipe on the bottle called for baking them and THEN coating them! I've never heard of that! Your method of coating, baking and then coating again was great! Nice and crispy the way we like them!

Hi ladies!

We are back! It's going to take me a while to get caught up on this thread, so I first wanted to thank everyone for all of the nice wishes for DH and I for our wedding day! We had a fabulous, wonderful day and the rest of the trip was great! I will get pictures up as soon as I can find my camera cord, so probably tonight or tomorrow!

Hey Amy! I have been waiting for the pictures!!! I cant wait!!!

Yeah, Chan, I wayyy overpacked! I brought a pair of capri's or shorts for everyday. A choice of a long sleve or short for every day ...a few sweaters/sweatshirts...about 4 pairs of shoes...oh heck I dont know...waaayyyy too much!!!

I just got a great recipe...watch out choco cake only 5 minutes away!!!!

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and
vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to
cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).


And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

I took sooo long putting together my novel ( I mean post... )that I missed some good stuff....

OMG 5 minute chocolate mug cake!!! it sounds yummy..

Wishing I could LMA and everything else off too...and with recipes like Siobhans...thats the only way it could possibly happen.... Chocolate is my weakness...

I'm going to keep checking the weather until mid week and then I'll pack....or overpack....

spacec47......Thanks .....I love the planning part almost as much as the trip itself . I just can't believe it's just over 4 months that we'll be there.....time is going by so fast . This trip will be interesting because everybody else that's going has never stayed on Disney property before.....so it will be a real treat for them .

The game was fun to watch . But it sure kept me on the edge of my seat and I was so happy when Arizona pulled ahead of Pittsburg.....then that happiness turned to sadness soon after .


Mare.....Glad bath time wasn't too soggy for you . BTW.....funny tag.......that would be a site, wouldn't it .


Chan......2:55 a.m. . You better take a nap later . The plans for the trip sound fun . You mentioned Groundhog Day......the news this morning said he saw his shadow so we're in for another 6 weeks of winter . I don't think I'll make it .

Afternoon Ladies


Lunch was fun and we got a few things accomplished for the trip . The main thing was to find out what my mom and dad were thinking as far as parks and restaurants and we got that taken care of......so things are falling into place .


Amy.....WELCOME BACK!!!!!! I can't wait to hear all about the wedding and trip .


BlueDeb......I told everyone today that I am doing a cabana day regardless....so if they want to join in, fine......if not, that's fine too and they'll be able to find me by the pool if they need me . Have fun packing and getting ready to leave on Friday .

Wendy........I'll take your groundhog's prediction . Any prediction that calls for an early spring is the one I'll believe .
